Another top upload great to see Justin and the team overcoming the problem of the house out of level on the dpc course ! Very tidy work on the porcelain and top cutting on very tricky cuts and really liked the tip on the drain in front of the planter and weep holes at the other side ! Weather still bashing you up on this video but as usual you stay in a positive mindset cheers Justin and the lads for the upload 👏
Hi John Each job haa its own challenges doesn't it mate the weather is the main one .Porcelain takes time to cut and get right .Thanks for acknowledging our efforts. Cheers mate 👍
Frazer's doing a great job on that porcelain patio - obviously had a good teacher! Can't believe that 'Level Error' on the house brickwork, whoever did that should be ashamed. And the Building Inspector who supposedly signed it off! Justin, what a lovely gesture you made to Scott - now that's what you call 'mutual admiration'! And wouldn't it be great if we could remove the phrase 'That's good enough' from our professional vocabulary and instead use 'That's as good as it gets'. Thanks for uploading guys, hope the weather improves for you!
Good one, keep your work level cos you don’t want it pooling up against the house on the right side and at the end of the day your installation has to work and look good 👍
I remember doing a porcelain patio last year and they had a new extension just built and it was nearly 2 inches out of square below dpc can't believe the cowboys out there. 👍
Keep up the content Just! Love watching your videos. Hope you get the job where you walked through the quote process. Would look forward to watching that one.
the knock-on affect with that build would have been massive, i wouldn't have liked working on that build. I hate having to build on someone's work when its crap as it makes yours look crap. good test of patience though. your work looks bang on. great stuff.
Justin, you must have really angered the rain Gods at some time last year ‘cos they’ve been getting back at you ever since!! Great looking job as usual with Fraser coming on very well.
Table saw only good for cuts straight through tile that’s what normally just it for more so if cutting a shit load borders up other than that. Petrol gas saw ellite yellow seems to best on the market long last on gas saw. Not so much table think it’s down to so sling on table saw. Best blade for table mate is the Pulvex long lasting and sharpen up good. Rubi viper also. Must say in general ellite stones do carcking kit at great prices. Cuts like that would come from side with 5inch grinder or 9inch dewalt cordless then on the long straight would come maybe say 150mm cut length from corner with grinder tends stop it breaking as cutting full length in towards corner. Some chancers have built that house 😂 great content buddy. What was manufacture of the tile buddy
Yea we use all the saws mentioned the only thing id say is if you use the elite blade on the petrol saw without water it bends and warps a lot so water is a must .All the sawing equipment has its time and place .you cant get a straigher cut consistently with anything other than the table saw but its slower but no dust and easier on the back aswell but it has its negative parts aswell lee. The tiles are marshalls Arrento silver mate . We use the two dewalt saws more than anything else so easy plug and go lightweight only thing especially with the 9 inch is battery life .As i say each saw has its ups and downs but together we have good kit most you suggested mate to be fair 😉 👌. Nice to here from you rained off again here not good in wales 🙃
@@brickrightbuildinglandscaping Yeah 9inch fella would always have the water on that aswell all dry cut blades worp when 2mm actually use 1.4mm for the small grinder again as you say got watch for heating. 12ah is a must for the both saws. 15ah market but don’t fit the case so no all the saws there bring same saw but with a bigger lid to accommodate the 15ah. A went mental at them it didn’t fit and sent the batts back lol. Marshalls use tons there tiles a lot of arento would think with thinking they are bee knees and super high prices these tiles made Bulgaria Poland etc would be full bodied. Big fan of the global stone tile. Do nice stuff.
@L Milne Arrento a mid range paving but still i agree with you at least sell it full bodied .Even the high end stuff some of it isnt full bodied still nice products and good customer service. Mandarin stone products very nice stuff i have to say lee vitrified full bodied paving on all the products ive used and nice pain to cut though . Yea we have 4 standard batteries with between then last us the day but we always have them on charge so an upgrade is needed . @@brickrightbuildinglandscaping 4 way speed charger buddy. 😆 £220. Trust me tho when have loads batt’s brilliant saves faffing about 1 or 2 single 1,s. Haven’t used the mandarin porcelain yet. Yeah your right on arento. But there’s 1 thing for sure there all same grade quality marshalls used about every range wouldn’t be able tell 1 from another some other ranges more grippy. Marshalls tile does generally cut well. There range needs badly updated. Most tiles just a plain matt finish not many with a contrast or vien pattern through them. Arento they banged it up by at least £12-£15 per sqm for the sole reason most go for it as it’s cheaper so now paying the so called luxury range price for it lol. Happens a lot that with us especially going around a conservatory 👍
Proper grunter lol😂, personally i would have followed the house then sent my falls to the end of the patio but it all works at the end of the day.

We give the customer options of straight joint staggered or half bond.
They always seem to go for the half bond 👍

I thought you had to always be two bricks below? Won’t the customer encounter potential damp?
Ideally yes but this wasn't an ideal situation the actual house is massively out of level.
So two bricks below into a brick really which is acceptable to building control nowadays 👍
Scott from tidybricks is amazing job 👍
Nick its stunning what hes done mate 👏
Hopefully it doesn’t create damp in the corner
Nar its fine i think there's a good fall on the patio and its one and a quarter bricks below DPC so its ok 👍 👌
