Lol, yeah, my wife isn't happy but you know the deal, ask for forgiveness thing:) I have no video skills but I might try that. I got the Zero a few months back when they had some good rebates, first I've seen of any, plus I can write off 10% I think on taxes so it was time to bite the bullet and go for it. I'm actually thinking of selling the R to try the Ultra Bee, what do you think?
Haha yea. I've seen one Zero around here before, thing was clean af. Dude tbh I know absolutely nothing about the Ultra Bee. But if you felt you've had your fun on the Sting R and you're ready to try something new then go for it. You still have the other 2 beasts lol

do ebike batterys catch fire alot or something?
From what I've seen it's only been aftermarket batteries, but at the time of this video, this was a brand new bike of it's kind (unlike the surron and talaria sting) on the market and I wasn't about to put my trust into a bike that's only been around for less than a few weeks.
what do you mean about the battery being in the bike can you explain, my sting r comes next Friday
So for this bike, there's a few extra steps to accessing the battery like removing the rear shock and moving the rear wheel out of the way. I personally like to bring my battery inside with me whenever I'm not riding, I don't like leaving it in the bike.

Lol I've charged the battery during the other unboxings as I was assembling the bike, but for this bike I couldn't easily access the battery right away like I could with the Sting R or Surron. I mean I guess I could have just plugged it in the side right then and there. Imo It's not really hard to actually access it, it just takes a little time. 🤙🏾
@@Randumbly yeah i feel u, I also watched your other video, Do you really think the surron suspension is better than the talaria, did you try tuning it or even adding the proper psi of air into the forks and shock? Suspension is something I wonder about because Im a little heavier than average, 6'1 240-250lbs
The suspension on the Sting R is great, I just liked the way it felt on the Surron a little more. It felt more bouncy lol. I only made adjustments a few times, I didn't really take time to try to find a proper tuning or whatever, I just went off of what another Sting R rider on TH-cam had his set to, and it felt chill lol. Also, I think you're definitely good with your weight on the R.

Do you have to take the battery out or can you leave it in?
You don't have to take it out to charge it, I just like to bring my battery inside with me for certain reasons. You can leave it in.
Can you charge the battery if you decide to take it out of the bike ?
How and were do you pick it up is it anywhere?
They're available on the Lune Cycle website, but they're always out of stock so you have to kinda keep checking to see if they're available.
I just ordered mine today. I have a surron and I left it in California. But looks about the same as surron unboxing but thanks for the video. I know what to expect.

A bit more detail, the external headlight on the Sting-R MX 4 is
ok but weak when you are riding at night above 30 mph.
I am in need of an upgrade (suggestions of plug and play??) GritShift has fitment for MX-3 which I now have and will "attempt" to install- after my warranty expires in 11 months.......................haha yes SIR!
I only rode the xxx in the day, but I really love how the actual light itself looks for sure, also with the 3 switch settings. It's different from all the other bikes. I've actually never actually looked at different headlights for my mx4 haha.

only MX4 rider that needs a light upgrade and the ALL lights Kill switch.
As mentioned we have the GritShift Blinding Blazer but is NOT plug and play.

UPDATE: Not even 10mins into my ride I come to an intersection, and a truck waved me to go, so boy I went and wheelie straight onto my back, guy didn't see if I was okay just thought okay I'll go instead and drove off!

@@Randumbly I just set mine up today. I have some slight brake rub but I’m guessing that will go away after I start riding. I’ve already “recentered” the brakes by loosening the calipers, then while squeezing the brake levers; tightening the two bolts back down. Installing the foot pegs was a pain in the ass. We’re you able to get both tightened? I was only able to get the riders right peg. The left peg doesn’t have enough clearance for a 15mm socket to clear. Perhaps I need a smaller socket set or have to remove the bash plate to get more clearance?
Oh I know you're hyped 🔥 haha. Yea I've had the brake rub thing at first too. On the R it went away after a while. Yea the pegs were hard to get on for sure lol. I was able to get them both on tight, I just used a regular open end wrench lol.
@@Randumbly I know you already sold your bike but one thing just came to mind: did you ever tension the chain properly to reduce the noise after riding 100 miles? The factory grease is pretty stiff when you first get the bike but then loosens up. I saw a video of a post tensioned bike and it was significantly quieter
