One quality of life that you can do in this game is to place counters or plastic cubes or tokens in Zones that are not in play to quickly filter out what you need to look for. It helped me plenty, so that I don't have to keep hunting the names every single turn.
25:05 - For Combat Event 8 - Counterattack, you have to skip your sub's attack sequence for that round even if you end up with no revealed ASW. You should have proceeded directly to the reattack round, revealing additional ships.
You're getting closer on the 1/2 ASW rounding. The difference is that in the case of attacking, you round down AFTER the subtraction - but for the counterattack, you round the ASW value is up BEFORE the subtraction. But in the case of the attack, rounding down the result after doing the subtraction is the same as rounding the subtrahend (i.e. the ASW value) up before doing the subtraction. So it would have been much less confusing for them to say always round the total ASW value up before subtracting. I hope this makes sense.
Good luck Dave, we are all learning.

You forgot to send your subs out that were ready for sea at Pearl Harbor.
56:20 - Dutch Harbor is not operational until War Event 6 occurs. See [21.0].
54:50 - In the re-attack round, even if you are unable to make a shot there is still a counterattack. See [14.17] B.

27:52 - You did have place the fourth TDC marker, but you don't reveal the ship unless you decide to attack it.

It does, but it seems pretty confusing for something that could've been designed a little easier.
@@davesgamingcave7862 It must also be said that it never goes below 0.50 (i.e. 1/2). When has there ever been a result of 0.49???
Yeah I don't understand why that is mentioned. The only factions involved are always 0.5.
