It sucks having a shadow banned account, It sucks that youtube even does that. They should just let every account be even, and not play favorites. Ill bet a lot of the biggest youtubers wouldnt be as big if they did. Sad.
I tried this and they tell me nothings wrong and then just send me multiple articles on how to make good content bla bla bla.

Of course. They're full of crap and are completely controlling narrative on what THEY want people to see and hear. Just like all the rest of social media companies that have been sued. They'll eventually end up like twitter or facebook or the rest. The AI rules are written by the "controllers" of social media that are in effect "ANTI SOCIAL". Most people that are sold the "AI narrative" believe whatever the salesman tells them the AI will do but in the dark background of the programming THEY WERE ALL LIED TO.

I've observed that none of my comments are receiving likes or feedback. While many people have received comment, some of it has been harsh and abusive, I have not received any feedback at all. I don't use profanity or anything of the sort when posting the facts. How can I tell if I'm being shadow banned on TH-cam? I doubt that anybody is able to see them.

@@RrockCj Yes actually. Ad revenue went up considerably. They denied "shadow banning me" but corrected it in a week. When they turned off ad revenue (yellow dollar sign instead of green) I put vids to private so they couldn't make ad revenue either. That got their attention. They did it once more and never again...

Contacting support doesn't help. They just tell you there isn't a problem and to keep uploading videos.
I just read your comment & I am in the same boat as you. I don’t have 1000 subs so I can’t even ask TH-cam why they keep putting my videos in review. I am not using any cuss words or talking about any controversial topics. My channel is about my talking cats. At Christmas I redid songs & made them into feline Christmas songs & trust me my singing is not anywhere near close to the original tune for it to be copyrighted but many got put into review & the ones that didn’t got very little views & it was because TH-cam choose not to push them at all.
I know my videos are not the best but when they are put in peoples feed they get watched, they are goofy & most are shorts because my longer one TH-cam seems to really dislike.
Sorry for the book I was just wondering if it was me but I guess not. Did yours get any better?

I know I’ve definitely been shadow banned. They apparently last only 24-48 hours, however I am still confused. Community posts are my main sources of interaction and content, as I post three memes a day, and only upload actual videos every Saturday and Sunday. When I got shadow banned, I had a _massive_ drop in likes on my community posts. Now it has been 12 days since I was shadow banned, and only one single community post has garnered over 100 likes. The videos I uploaded last weekend both performed well and got over 100 views, but my community posts are _still_ performing terribly. I can’t tell if they’re just abusing their own system and shadow banning me whenever the 24-48 hour period is over, or that community posts get hit the hardest when shadow banned and take longer to start performing well again. This is TH-cam’s main way of trying to demotivate people from providing content on their channel.

@@HumanityHope0 can’t really say at this point. They’re slowly improving, but my sub count just goes by _very_ slowly. This happened to me last year, and I can only hope it all blows over like it did.

I started in a new niche less than a month ago, and I have gotten almost 900 subscribers in the past three weeks. I have a video that got over 20,000 views, but now, in the last two days, I am getting less than 10 views on a new video. I don't understand it because I'm not doing anything different. I think I'm being shadow-banned, but I don't know why. My videos aren't controversial, as I make videos for 4-year-olds. It is very frustrating. I use a service that posts videos twice daily for me, so I'm hanging in there until the payment is due again, but this is very frustrating!

it can go both ways, sometimes your video gets "flagged" from my experience it just means it won't get many views. If your whole channel is "flagged" then people most likely won't see your comments, I can read yours, however.

At this point I really tried everything with my videos. And the recent 5 videos died off extremely fast. It looked like YT was limiting the reach. Each subsequent video was getting less ans less views. So I tried now contacting the support. Hopefully they can resolve our problem.

Went from 3k-15k views every single short, ive uploaded 15 shorts now that get under 10 views, its been like this for 2 months, its so fkin dumb.
I opened up two accounts because I would post a comment and then I would have my daughter go look for it and it would be gone so then I started posting comments on my other account and they would show up and then my other one would go away..
Now most my comments that show on my phone as being posted underneath someone's reply when I go on my other account and look at it it is not there?!!

I have a very strong suspicion that I have been shadow-banned for approx. one year now. Now my videos do not even seem to upload any more. I am making music and writing stories. I have no idea how I could have caused this myself. Maybe somebody reported me to not agree with his opinion in the comments of another video on another channel? Not even my subscribers watch my videos, just a handfull. I am happy to get 100 views in total for a new composition worth half a day`s work or more. Do they bully me for not being premium? Or for reserving my copyrights (while others download my videos as they please without even notifying me! One guy did this even without triggering the view count doing so!) which they certainly neglect anyway. I am not a big company but a private person. Nobody will notice when they walk over me.

My comments have been shadow banned, too, on one or two TH-cam channels. Also, some replys to my comments I can't view either. I see a few but not all of them. It's really annoying.

It happens to me all the time. I think my channel is shadowbanned because of my "wrong-think" comments. The YT bots probably assume my videos are "wrong-think" too, while I have only some videos of animals and some tributes to movies and shows on my channel + a lot of saved playlists, mostly of music.

I see that happening... all the time on my channel analytics. Except my explosions and plummets are way more pronounced. Like 3000 views a day pm a video, suddenly falling to zero. Or like yours, an old video getting steady views hourly and daily, then suddenly flatlining inexplicably
I suspect it happens because of my posting in the YT comments section. The comments section is a honeypot and all you can do is... never post or answer viewers in the comments section. I comment voraciously and it keeps almost all my channels perpetually shadowbanned.

Hosting my videos on pewwtewb has pretty much tanked my video editor careeer because pewwtewb blatantly favors talking head videos and livestreams, not video mashups and music videos like I do. They consider that "TH-cam p00p". I'm not kidding, there is a wiki on it. When I found that out, I was pretty much enranged.
Wikipedia has a List of (other) Online Video Platforms, so I'm still pondering the best to jump ship too. Maybe Twitch or Rumble, or some foreign site like Billibilli. Tiktok was a bust.
No real solution to the vagarities of how peewtewb promotes your videos and the decides to quit. I've got one single video that ranks high in a narrow category of their search results for "Kolb Ultrastar" and I get 100 views per day forever for that, that's my one categoryklller video, and it was totally uploaded as a side note by me and I didn't even make it. My own videos that I bwst my a55 on pewwtewb ignores. Frustrating and annoying. This platform blows chunks so bad...
