What was brilliant about this ep. was how it subverted the "will they or won't they" trope. It was a funny way to relieve all the built up tension of the season and assure viewers that comedy is the main focus of the show.
Annie did know! Jeff told her when he saw her outside of school when she came back instead of going with Vaughn. So she did kiss him knowing Britta had just told him she loves him.

What a banger couple of episodes, Betty White delivering savagery, Chang loosing his mind and Annie absolutely unhinged. Though the biggest laugh was you not understanding they didn't chloroform themselves, pure gold. The end of episode two is one of my favourites, Troy looking devastated and Abed realising he might have crossed the line.
I love how everything comes out at once in EP1. No dragging it out. Abed's comment to Jeff about TV has quite a punch. One of my *favorite* moments is that after Britta says she never loved Jeff, Jeff *high fives the priest* 😁 For EP2, it is neat learning some of Jeff's backstory with the firm. And you caught the "pop" of the handshake. :)
Accounting for Lawyers is one of my favorite episodes, in part because of Donald Glover's EXCELLENT physical comedy. He just KILLED it; I absolutely adore it when he just . . . like contorts and sort of prances around in terror. I lose it every single time. Plus Jeff having to talk everyone else out of basically being as bad as a lawyer; "Pierce, do I even need to say this? It is bad to hunt man for sport!" lol.
You might be surprised to learn that the setting for this show is a fictional town called Greendale in COLORADO. Vaughn moves to DELAWARE. The Colorado location explains why Señor Chang is going snowboarding in season 1. Also why during the sailing class episode they have to have the sailboat in the parking lot as there are no nearby bodies of water.
@@RamblersIncA lot more off-campus scenes/episodes now. And they’ll stop using Los Angeles Community College campus and basically just use the parking lot at the studio for exterior shots more often. The art and set departments really start to shine. Remember, everything you see was probably built and dressed the night/morning before. The bedroom sets were fun though quick. Watch again slower and you can see little character details.
Mixed feelings on the double episodes. It will serve you guys well, as there are a couple of 2 part episodes ahead 😁 But now I have to remember twice as much that I wanted to comment on 😂 First the references. Just few of them in these episodes. You were a little frustrated at not knowing the reference to the James Spader movie "Bad Influence" That's very minor. It was better that you caught the LOTR reference. Chang having a Gollum/Smeagol moment. And you calling him Cheagol was funny 😆 Also, one of my favorite bits. Did you catch the reference to the Irish rock group The Cranberries? The group had a big hit in the 90's called "Linger" That is the song the wedding party was singing, as they entered, albeit with altered lyrics. I bust out laughing everytime I hear the line "and Abed hired an Irish singer" The real lyric being "and you've got me wrapped around your finger" 😂 Betty White is ALWAYS a delight! She was always a very funny woman. R.I.P. you beautifully funny person. On the subject of chloroform. It is often used as a prop in movies and shows to render people unconscious. I'm fine with that, but in reality it takes a LOT longer to knock someone out with the stuff. Anywhere from a few minutes to 15 or 20. But I'm not trying to be Britta Buzzkill here. It was so funny that the plan was to pretend to have all been chloroformed. WHAT? That makes no sense. But, that's the hilarious beauty of Community Finally, Troy often says things that make you go....WHAT?? But don't spend time trying to make sense of it. As Troy says "that makes my brain itch" 😂😂
We were reminded it's 6 seasons and it'd take us forever....plus it's an excuse to watch one more episode 😂. THAAANKK YOOUUUU. The song sounded familiar and it was bugging me. That plan 🤣. Annie got too comfortable with the chloroform. It makes total sense why him and Abed work together.

Seasons 4,5&6 are only 13 episodes. So, really just half seasons. Making the series about 4 and 1/2 seasons long. The reason? Well that's messy and long. Basically NBC gave up on the show, slowly. You'll probably see some comments bad mouthing season 4. That's the season that NBC fired creator Dan Harmon. He was then rehired for 5&6. Season 4 is definitely the weakest season, but it is not as terrible as many will portray it. Overall though, you can clearly see it doesn't measure up to the wonderful craziness of seasons 2&3 😁
