The fact Gravity colors carries older Chrysler colors like Panther Pink (Moulon Rouge early) and Sassy Grass (Go-Green for the noobs) was a huge selling point for me. I use mostly Alclad laquers and am pretty sure their primers are compatible (I'll have to test this because Candies need special basing to come out right and Alclad has the top tools for that). Totally studied these Gravity colors and will be ordering a batch for my upcoming (Dodge) builds. Great video and thanks again Old Man!
Hi Donn! Great video! Thanks for doing this! Please also try/test the new batch of paints I sent you, the ones that come in plastic bottles. Those paints come with new self leveling thinner, they flow better and lay down nicer then the one you just tested.

Just curious,...... with lacquers, I noticed towards the end of this video U mentioned the kit will be wet sanded after the color coat before it's cleared. what grits are U wet sanding the painted body at? I'm guessing from 2,400 up 2 12,000 as well but I don't want 2 assume anything. I want 2 follow your method when I spray lacquers......thanks again Donn.......be well!!!!

Then you said in the video you would come back Friday and clear it and let us know what you thought about the gravity paint. I didn’t see the 2nd episode of the gravity paint. What do you think about Gravity paint?? I’m just staring to get back in the hobby and want to stock up on a few paint so I can start building. Should I buy Gravity paint or model master enamel paints??? Please let me know your thoughts. Thank you!!
Can you spray these indoors such as a bedroom converted into a Hobby room. If you have a Paint booth set up. I have one of those desk top portable set ups.

Hi Donn have you tried Zero Pains yet, i use them all the time and have had great results,, i don`t do shows so i don`t know how well they would so and at my age (72) i probably won`t do shows, oh and you HAVE to use primers with them, Gravity colors are a new on on me so i`ll stick with Zero paints, cheers, Rodger Cox
+Para Scale Modeling I purchased mine at Bed Bath & Beyond .... Most large retailers carry them , you just need to cut the guts out of several of the layers to allow for more room .
I have a question for ya donn, whats the point of spraying a little bit on the newspaper when you added more paint? Does it help with tipdry or is it just a habit or what?
+Josh Hulboy Josh , you clear any droplets out to avoid spitting when you hit the button to begin spraying . Also , this allows you to see what your spray pattern is and you can adjust it accordingly .
Hey Michael, as you know, the lacquers do dry fast. This was done as more of a test to see if you could speed up the drying so one could handle the body quicker without any damage done to the paint. For example, some clubs do 24hr or 48hr builds, and so by using lacquers and a dehydrator you could handle the body and parts sooner. -Jake
Gravity Colors, USA is beyond terrible. They don't answer emails and take forever to send anything out. Won't buy from them ever again. I have, however, only heard great things about Gravity Colors in Spain. Faster turn-around time (can get paint shipped to California within a week, including processing time). Sad when you get product from Europe faster than you can from Florida.

+Garydlrx7 Thirty I do ... I shoot a couple of mist coats on the body , then the hood , the valances , etc . Then I repeat the same procedure over and over again until I have a uniform color , smoothness , and shine to all of the painted parts . As far as I’m concerned Gravity Colors does not exist. I placed a fairly large order a year or so ago. I never got my order. I never got a response to any of my emails. All I got was $85 charged to my credit card. I got an email from them a couple of months ago. Something about someone bad mouthing them on the net. I sent another email asking for my stuff(what I really want) or my money. No response. As far as I’m concerned they’re rip-off artists and need a visit from the Federal Trade Commission and the Postal Inspectors.

White would be best . I take my bodies all the way up to 12000 before painting begins .

I have had horrible experience with GC US as well. I'm amazed they are even still in business with how great GC Spain is.

There are 2 operations with the gravity colours name. The guy running the usa website is a fraud. The paint from Spain is perfect.
