Nice video. I have the filter in hand but don't want to start until I have the O-ring that seals the body of the filter housing to the CVT, just in case I cut it during re & re and I cause a leak. Would you have the part number for that O-ring?
There are 2 cvt filter The one from the video should be changed every 30k miles part number- 2921A011 There is another one inside the transmission pan that should be changed every 60k miles part number 2824A017(you just need a 10mm socket)

Any tips on where to buy the filter? I can only find the filters online on Amazon and Ebay for like $30
At my local dealer it cost $30
Or you could order from mitsubishi parts direct
My dealerships all of them around saying that there is no filter for CVT, you simply drain and fill with new Trany oil

You probally can but there is probally no space to do it unless you got small arms

Did you drain the transmission before changing filter
No, you lose about 1/2 a quart in removing the filter
If you havent changed your cvt fluid in a while, I recommend draining it then change the filter

what is the difference between 2921A011 and 2921A007?
2921A007 is for mirage after 2014 and 2921A011 if for mirage before 2014
But usually they both fit
