I really laughed when it didn't register any speed on your GPS 😄 I actually think that's a good point. It looks like it has good throttle response, and not "snatchy". which is great for crawling and trailing. Now I have watched this I'm really looking forward to receiving my FTX version. I am probably going to do the scale comparison with other RC's too in a video. But I will use my Defender collection. I have my 1:10 - 1:12 FTX Outback V2 Ranger, the 1:18 David Halsall International Land Rover Defender (the one with opening doors), and I can't wait to see it next to my TRX-4 😄😄😄 Big thumbs up for this excellent video my friend. 👍👍👍
Nice review bro! Seems like a capable little truck, with one odd radio..I never seen a radio some apart like that to put the batteries in and AAA at that plus that has to be the smallest Lipo ever!! Definitely a cool truck looking forward to seeing more of it. I might have to get one or two for me and my boy..lol :)

And AAA's :-) It was an instant success for my boy (a little Family RC adventure coming up tomorrow on the other channel). I think I have to get him one too :-)

Great Video! Looks like a nice little truck, reminds me of the RGT and the ECX barrage. I have one of each and hate the fact that you have to mod it to be as capable as this one seems to be. They both also have the issue with slowing down during a turn which is annoying, to say the least. I put one of these in my cart and will be buying one soon to see if it is any better then the other two.

And yes, I think the Defender body is the winner here, although I like the blue a little better than this khaki/yellow or what it is. Color doesn't look so good in polycarbonate I think. You have to include some footage of you operating that pistol grip and running that LiPo powered car for all of us Will be a historic moment in the world of wibbly wobblies and NiMHs :-)

Hi again, Cam row drone. Thanks for the continuous support, bro. Yeah, a real cool tiny truck. Think the stock battery does rather well. I was quite surprised. It's specified to 45 minutes of run time. Haven't measured it it holds up, but it certainly provides a lot of run time. And the version with the two batteries looks cool. Not much of a price difference.

Just trying to report all I notice and observe so people can decide for themselves if they like it. I think the steering issue is important to notice, cause it do make it harder to go slower, to crawl in a controllable manner, if the servo, when used, takes away power from the motor. I am just learning the difference between ‘friction shocks’ and just ‘springs’ - so far, like a lot of other people, I have just used the two names for the same thing (I still consider me more or less a newbie). The “shocks” on this one are more or less just springs/pogo sticks. But they seem to work fine nontheless on this one. I think flex and the right softness of springs on these slow ones/high torque crawlers are more important than oil and dampening, although in full throttle with obstacles they do make it bounce.

I contacted Banggoods, who I bought it from, and they said I can ship it back for a refund but when I brought it to the post office, it will cost $56 to ship it back to China! Total waste of money!
I like them. I also order stuff from them with my own money. I have experienced that shipping time varies very much from order to order. Sometimes it only takes days, but more often than not weeks or months. I usually use them for all the stuff I have planned ahead, or repairs that can wait a little while. Also from the EU. The stuff I need right now and here I order from Tamico, eBay and such within the EU.

Just ordered one of these but in bronze. The scx24 deadbolt has tons of custom options, do these have more add on options?

im pretty sure that means its out of battery?
Make sure the batteries (in both car and transmitter) are good. If they are, then try the manual, the binding procedure aught to be there.

as a speed it is a gate but it stops at nothing :-D
So light and so much torque with this gear ratio. Doesn't really "crawl" beautifully and slow, but yes, it's hard to stop :-)
Put a brushless motor in it make run like a scolded cat.
