"Just come back and make everything the way it used to be!" This is probably Mark's most relatable quote. We all wanted at some point to re-experience the lifestyle we had before the world hit us hard, even though we (even Mark in this moment) always knew that was simply not possible
Ma boy got Stockholm syndrome. Definitely a tough spot to be, interesting that Mark can reconcile everything that's happened to see that Omni man is still his father.
It is genuinely heartbreaking that after everything Nolan did, Mark's first reaction with seeing him again is to break down crying, hug him and beg for him to come home.
It is genuinely dumb writing that he does that. At least some hostility would have been much more appropriate, the guy killed a lot of people, some of them even by using Mark himself
@@zh0skiyebaka I don't know. It's not like Mark forgives him completely for what he done. And I'm not surprised this is his reaction because of the massive love he has for his father. His first reaction to his Dad killing people was assuming that it was a trick and cry over being genuinely hurt by the shattering of the illusion his father is a killer. As well as the infamous answer to what Mark will have left have 500 years. It makes sense for me at least that this is Mark's reaction because Mark is not at the core of himself violent or hostile. That's just not who he is.
It is his dad and yes what he did was evil but he has 18 years of amazing memories with his father and one day that was admittedly evil and dark but still only one day.
@@zh0skiyebaka its realistic really at least for some people. there are many people that forgive horrific acts of their parents due to the part inside them that loves them. Ive seen many sad cases where sons forgave their fathers even though they were a pedophile or killed the mother siblings etc. love is a strong emotion and people can forgive downright everything in their close circle if sorrow is shown.
I like how they changed up Mark’s reaction in the show. For a brief moment, he’s happy to see his father again, hugging him in embrace, longing for his presence in his life again. But he doesn’t let those thoughts consume him. He can’t forgive him for what he did on earth, to its people, to the people he loved. So, unsurprisingly, he doesn’t trust him. He no longer sees him as his father but as a monstrous devil who tore apart his home. These are the benefits of having the ability to rewrite your previous work, and it shows in both seasons.
I feel like that ironically makes it weaker because it’s not necessarily Mark who doesn’t want to forgive him; it’s the viewers. They would be angry if Mark forgave him too quickly.
I honestly think the show made it worse. It made it more about the earth than on Mark's personal relationship with his father. Sure, Omni man is a devious monster, but he still cared for Mark for 18 years and that truly amounts to something. I think him being able to move past that to a certain extent to see his father still standing there made Mark much stronger as a person.

"Because I would win" implies that he already met up with Mark again after some "difficulties" that lead up to this confrontation with Mark and Nolan
Funny how Nolan looks down on humanity for living a mere hundred years only to settle on another planet in which the population live even shorter lives.
This is going to be really complicated, I like to see how the show handles Mark and Nolan’s reunion. Despite Nolan killing lots of people including the Guardians and beating the shit out of him, Mark still loves his dad and just wants to fix things.😢
In the end, moving to this planet was the saving of Nolan Grayson. He found a peace here that he never could have had on earth. For a viltrumite it's probably just the same, generations come and go, but here they do it so much more quickly that it's clear they actually benefit from a viltrumite ruler who can remember things from season to season, and Nolan has no greater need than to be needed. @@lucasbroome1048 oh yeah, definitely and probably at the end of it
It Omni man go say “ hey Mark, it’s been a while you looking well” then boom end of season 2
@@Rawxnama98 I mean Angstrom Levy happens after this scene
@@lucasbroome1048 I mean you know the show and comics are different
When Robot got a new body in comic that happen after Omni man leave earth not before so the show is going to be different you know I’m saying?
@@Rawxnama98 I know but they wouldn't tease Angstrom Levy in the banner of the show without ever having him do anything in the season. They even have Mark fight the Maulers in a warehouse
Lilium hits hard
Elfen Lied piano music. Pretty neat
poor kid really has gone through so much
Shout out to the editing in this video, shit was immaculate
Thank you brother 🙏
Yikes the ptsd of Lilium playing holy hell
Elfen leid piano in the background made this odd for me loool
Damn you using Lilium from Elfen Lied has my mind somewhere else entirely lmao I had to pause the video and think about the entirety of Elfen Lied with that cliffhanger ending
Nolan getting the bugussy
Uhhhh if I saw my father tonguing a big I’d lose my mind 😂
Gimme sum dat bug action.... mmm mmmm mmmm
Deep.
I would have left the moment I saw him.
Thousand year old man tongues an infant
Say what you want about the comics, but this once scene is much better here
Ima have to strongly disagree
@@cultofsquidward4100 well okay, why
@@bullymaguire8292 the way the show handled it was far more believable and realistic, with Mark being completely taken over by different emotions, with Mark embracing nolan but is still reasonably enraged for what his father has done. This is something that I feel is deeply missing from the comic where Mark forgives Nolan far too quickly making it seem more forced imo. Remember Mark is still only a teenager and will still behave as a teenager, where strong emotions like sadness and anger tend to get the better of them. But that's just my take.
@@cultofsquidward4100 his anger seemed forced to me in the show. And idk, as a deeply emotional person who can't help but feel heartbroken for imaginary characters, the scene where Mark just cries and seems to be about to collapse, speaks more to me
@@cultofsquidward4100 but even then okay, you make a good point
Bro isn't that female ant like a month old...
Time is relative. The planet probably spins 3 times as fast as Earth's
She's actually like 5 months old but this made me bust out laughing lmao
I can't wait until this gets Animated.
Me too man !
Holy crap, I totally forgot Elfen Lied existed
I can’t be the only one slightly bothered with how they draw the mouths ..😅
Wait so the show is actually based off the comics pretty much exactly?
In theory bro ! There's quite a few differences. But the comics are the source material for sure :)
amber was actually good in the comics
@@vighneshkoalapunani8851Yeah, she was white
yeah she's the superior version@@_Yombo
Don’t think I’m ready for season 2…
I doubt this will happen in this season after the one liner from omni man.
I highly doubt he was speaking to Mark. He was either speaking to Angstrom Levy in another reality or he was speaking to his other son Oliver. It could potentially also be a nightmare sequence Mark has.
whats the song in the begiinning?
So omni man has a redemption arc??????
yes, but he can never be forgiven for what happened on earth
What was so hard in saying that their species lifespan is 14 days when asked how did they wait him their entire live?
