I like Veleno but I’d prefer to see him go if it means opening a spot for Danielson
Danielsson is going to be the Guy, its only a matter of time, I thought he was going right into the line up, he looked of being ready b4 the draft.
Outside of a few game stretch last year, Veleno hasn’t shown much at all.
Even if this is the plan. Danielson is not making the team in 24/25 season anyway so keeping valeno on the cheap this year is a good idea.

Joe Veleno has the work ethic to stay on this team. Some blossom late. This coyld be a breakout year for him on the 4th line with a fresh face or two to make plays with.
Since wings are not ready to challenge for the cup, getting some of the kids into the lineup is necessary. Wish it was done last season, instead, some questionable signings were made.
I would buyout Copp cus we have Kasper and Danielson and the buyout actually isn't that bad
Copp isn’t on the top of the buyout list. Holl is number one. Even tho that may not be possible. Husso number 2.
Joe Veleno did nearly nothing for the Wings last year and should leave the Wings roster ASAP. Veleno is not worth having. Hoping that Danielson or one of the other rookies take his spot.
Husso can be bought out
Danielson will be a better 2 way player than Bedard

I wouldn't pay Veleno even if he wanted to be on the Griffins. He needs to go. He is not pro material.

It does seem like valeno is doing a little better each year. Alil more points. Better positioning and or better at faceoffs. The increases are small but noticeable. I think people forget he costs 1 mil. For his point total and faceoffs he is worth 1 mil

Joe is very average
Veleno has had plenty of chances to prove he is worth a shit, all I see is another player that is holding a spot on the roster that belongs to someone with more talent. He is not good,he was given more playing time, only to fade away as the season went along.
Tarasinko is a player.You sign when you're making a run for the playoffs or the stanley. The just another signing like Cobb but shorter term.Steve git this team cap straped and we r not even a playoff team.

Veleno is like a bad Darrin Helm. Has some speed but turns good scoring chances into missed opportunities. Now, he may even be compared to Filip Zadina.
Yeah he is a bust. This last year was his year to show us he could be a top 9 regular. I am not impressed. He was not a good center when playing with talented wingers

Holl for Trouba. NYR pays $2.5 million of Trouba's contract, then buys out Holl. ASP plays in Sweden this year, Griffins next year, and Red Wings in 2 years when Trouba's contract expires.
Berggren, Johansson, 2025 1st for Necas. Sign Necas for 5 years, $5-$6 million. Hoping 1st round pick given is 25th or later.
Trade Maatta & Husso for as much as you can get.

This won’t happen. It will take more then holl to get trouba. Trouba is still actually decent. Just not for 8 mil. Holl is complete dogshit. U would have to give up draft picks just to move holl. Besides rumors have it that trouba added Detroit to the 15 team no move list. Second u have to move holl and husso. Without trouba to afford necas. He will probably cost around the 6.5 mil mark. That’s assuming that berggren Johanson and a late first would be enough to get him.

Necas makes $3 million now. I guesstimated $5-$6 million for 5 years. Where did your $6.5 million figure come from?
@@matthewnichols3838 there is zero chance trouba for holl. Trouba has value. They aren’t buying trouba out. They may trade trouba and retain. Considering a team may want him. Holl is dead cap. Considering this free agency of overpaying. I can see necas getting 6.5. And yzerman isn’t going for 5 year free agents this offseason. U notice his choices were 1-2 years across the board with no overpays.
I think Veleno is a late bloomer. Give him 2 more seasons to become the 2nd/3rd line center/winger he should be. A gritty 2/3 guy is what we need. Not giving up on him, but his time is running thin. Wasn't he considered 'exceptional' in his youth?!
I think people forget that valeno will probably get 30 points this coming season at a aav of 1-1.5 mil. And might win 50% faceoffs. He isn’t going to be some 1st or second line center. But for the price he’s doing fine.
I want Veleno gone. Haven’t been impressed by anything he’s done in his Wings career so far.
Veleno would fit nicely on Chicagos top 6. Bedard would fit nicely in our middle 6. Yzerman is in the habit of giving quality talent away for free so a trade for Bedard isn’t out of the question.
