Not that I agree with the virtual signaling at the beginning of the TS concert, and I agree with everything you said in that regard. There is a chance Taylor had no control of that little blip. In our area at the beginning of all performances at our big theater something very similar is said only in regard to a different tribe whose land we are standing on…
Allie, the whole thing is shocking, but let me point to one thing: you hope this man's heart of stone would be turned by God into a heart of flesh because this is what God can do. Well God could do it before but He didn't. Why? We have free will and I believe we shouldn't be praying for God to act instead of people. And too late, too.
Allie, you're wrong. We don't get to decide when someone lives or die. Even though he acted wrong and was unfair, we don't get to take justice into our hands. God does justice for us.
The civil government actually does have that right. It's in Romans 13 that the state is described as the servant of God, the avenger who carries out God's wrath on the wrongdoer.
@@joys.6347 Jesus Christ came to change the law from the old testament. What does he say in the new testament? He doesn't say do unto others as they have done unto you. You have to move past the old testament. Also Christ offers us all his mercy. What about the parable that gets forgiven his debts, but refuses to forgive the debt of the person that owed him? We don't get to just pick and choose what we like to make justice for ourselves.
@@VanessaChavez-b8n Oh, Romans is in the New Testament. The mercy of Christ does not negate His justice, as I'm sure you know from your original comment. The parable is about extending forgiveness when you have been forgiven by Christ, which is not the same thing as the civil government punishing a criminal. If you read Romans 13 you'll find that the civil government is supposed to reward the righteous and punish evil. They don't get to pick and choose what they like, they must follow God's law. And that does include the death penalty in some cases. Individual people cannot do this so in that you are correct. Romans 12:17-21 explains that we are not to seek revenge or pay evil with evil. We must let the civil government bring justice to the evildoer, as described in Romans 13:3-4.
@@VanessaChavez-b8nI wrote a reply, but it appears to be gone now. That's annoying, but I'll try to remember what I said. Oh, Romans is in the New Testament. Jesus is merciful, but that does not negate His justice, as I'm sure you know from your original comment. That parable is about extending forgiveness because you have been forgiven in Christ, which is not the same scenario as the civil government giving justice. If someone commits a crime against you and asks for forgiveness, you can absolutely give it, but that does not mean they can escape the consequences for their action. Individual people cannot dole this out, so in that you are correct. Romans 12:17-21 teaches that we are not to seek revenge or repay evil for evil. We must let the civil government take care of that for us. They cannot pick and choose what they prefer, but they must follow God's law for what good and evil are. That law does not change because God does not change. Romans 13:3-4 state that rulers are supposed to reward the righteous and punish evil. They won't always do it perfectly (especially those that don't care about God's standard), so yes we can be assured that God will bring perfect justice, whether in Hell or at the foot of the cross.

I correctly characterized Keller's preaching as VILE, as he does NOT EXEGETE text, preferring instead to drone on and on about social science and psychology (despite the social science crisis of reproducibility!).
Given that he did not work to uphold the biblical imperative of diligence in handling the Word of God _correctly, as a workman who has no need of being ashamed (2 Tim 2:15), it's no wonder that by the end of his career, he was WOKE, that is, a proponent of the woke gnostic heresy.
We are not to coddle false teachers, but following Jesus' example and teaching, we are to "leave them!" (Matt 15:14)-a principle repeated in Paul with the added injunction to silence their false doctrine (2 Tim 3:5, 7-9; Titus 1:11; 3:10).

I correctly pointed out that Keller's sermons are VILE, because they are not exegetical. Instead of carefully exegeting text in sound grammatico-historical methodology, Keller preferred rather, to drone on and on about social science and psychology (and this, amid a crisis of reproducibility in social science!). Not sound. He did not heed the biblical imperative to diligence in correctly handling the word of truth, so as not to be ashamed before God (2 Tim 2:15). It's no wonder that by the end of his career, he was WOKE, that is, a proponent of the woke gnostic heresy. VILE is accurate and correct.
That’s the same quote ( Tswifts’) that they share at our local public schools every day!!!!! I don’t get it either 😢
What happened to the part where she talked about the preacher? I thought this was a new video at first with more details on Cru.
Please sell tumblers!! I would love to buy one with your designs. Such cute stuff!
Why does the church, ministries, believers lower the standards of the Bible, the standards of Christ and dilute God’s Desires. God the Father, God the Son, God the Holy Spirt has not changed. Why do we stop trusting God why do we become so desperate that we think we need to do the job of the Holy Spirt. We allow people into ministry who really aren’t ready, we hire Christian School Teachers who shouldn’t be in the classroom. We look the other way as couples live together instead of getting married.
I have been in ministry over 30 years, highly educated, consulted with churches. It’s only by the Grace of God that He hasn’t ended it.
If you think about the condition of the world today compared to the time of the flood God has watched His creation defile His name
I saw somewhere (sorry i can't remember where) that the venue or the town Taylor Swift was at, required land acknowledgements. IDK if that's true. Silly either way.

How is this any different from the Taliban calling others of their same faith 'heretics'? I am not Muslim btw

Can you please debate Candace Owens about the death penalty? I listen to both of your podcasts daily and she has the opposite perspective that you have. You both have fair points but it would be interesting to hear you both have a friendly discussion about it.
Content relevant to the title = approx. 4 minutes: Timestamps - 19:50 - 23:50. First time viewer. First, thank you for the information regarding the CRU email. That said,... when only four minutes of a thirty five minute video are directly related to the subject matter of the video title (CRU Post Election Email),... PLEASE provide timestamps, as everyone's time is valuable, yes? Alternatively,... you might consider a format whereas after opening remarks, you say something to the effect, "After jumping directly into the topic,... I'll do a deep dive,... or I'll touch on other topics, etc, etc". This method would directly give people what was described in the title of your video (e.g. contents and commentary on the email),... yet also allow for those that wish, to spend more time and take in your "extra-topical" commentary, which is no doubt, highly valued by many. Thank you again for your content.

Hi! Go get ‘em today!
God's written word does not return void.
Isaiah 55:11 (KJV 1900): So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth:
It shall not return unto me void,
But it shall accomplish that which I please,
And it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it

Not that I agree with the virtual signaling at the beginning of the TS concert, and I agree with everything you said in that regard. There is a chance Taylor had no control of that little blip.
In our area at the beginning of all performances at our big theater something very similar is said only in regard to a different tribe whose land we are standing on…
After reading a few of the comments, I should add that I’m in a very woke part of the US.

I'm quite an actor, eh? I'm a 34-year veteran of it.
So you take the good from keller but dont take that stance with the broader understanding of cru.

Isnt this yesterdays?
Removed the Steve Lawson part since she got some of the facts wrong on that.
The governor does have the right and authority to take a life. They are to administer justice with care and equity.
This seems like such a case.
Hey Allie do a show on Trump and his all Jesuit/Catholic picks. These actors sure are gonna pull a big one on many who choose to put their faith in a man.
So says the voice of a lying spirit! 🙄
