Yes, if your score is even you are playing the right side only and if your score is odd you play the left side only. You stay whichever side is dictated by your own score
@@JackyPlays ooh ok thats a simpler way to say it. I might try a set or 2. Whats the game like? You run less but you feel like it requires more skills?
@@jkscout I was being generous when I said 'almost'. Every single one of your serves was illegal - From your very first serve at 0:14, your ball arm is going in an Upward motion when you release the ball, you release the ball At or Above your waist, you're making contact with the ball At or Above your waist, and the paddle is coming straight across the ball instead of from below the ball in an upward motion. You can slow it down and see it clear as day...and that's how you're hitting all of your serves.
@@MM-es1cl You’re confusing PPA pro rules w regular amateur play which uses USAP serving rules. First off the waist is at belly button level and Jacky is making contact right about there. And yes contact at waist level is a legal serve. He is making an upward motion to hit his serve otherwise he wouldn’t be hitting with an arc and topspin. You can also toss the ball above the waist and upward slightly as long as contact is made at or below the waist with the paddle head below the wrist.
So when you win the point (while serving of course) you change serving-side. But the other player remains put.
Sth like that?

I'd say it's like 1 on 1 doubles, give it a try! Good game to play to drill for doubles
@@JackyPlays ok and it sounds fun. Will do, thanks
I think the best drill for doubles!
If you're the guy in the hat almost every single one of your serves was an illegal serve
no

@@MM-es1cl do you know where the waist is?
@@MM-es1cl I agree. There is no drop so one of the 2 rules is not complied
Thats what it looks like at least
