I have some queries related to Avenger. Please share your thoughts.
1. Bajaj Avenger is suitable for a 6 feet guy?
2. Is it easy to manoeuvre in traffic?
3. Does it makes sense to buy bike that was launched in way back 2005?
I also completed 50k on My Avenger. It's irreplaceable because of it's riding stance and Superb engine. I am not fully convinced to replace it because as you said, It doesn't have any problem.

if your bike is new then you wont face any problem, in old bikes you can change your bike battery before visiting locations like Spiti.
i love my avenger 2022 model with abs , i love its low rider instance..... mast hai, kaash iska engine aur refine hota aur 6 gear.

@@ashokanlee380 performance now is better because of fuel injection. More smooth and instant acceleration with slightly better mileage..
FI has changed the overall experience..
But still I somehow feel the lack of that kind of refinement which is seen on Japanese bikes like suzuki and Yamaha..

Being in the mid50+ age bracket and after having ridden everything from R15, dominar 400, versys 650s I finally purchased the cruise 200. I was waiting for mag wheels, rear disc twin channel abs, but bajaj didn't give that. And now, after having severely damaged knees, the only low weight dependable, cruiser for me is the avenger cruise.
Been riding for over 30 years. And don't intend to stop it.
Why don't you change the wheels to mag wheels and have tubeless tyres? I intend doing that, once the mandatory 2 years is over.
Till then I will use formula X a gel puncture sealant. TH-cam or Google it.

I am facing an issue with new avenger sometimes bike doesnt switch to 5 th gear it seems gear has been changed but it didnt i have to do it again. Have u ever had such problem?
never faced such situation, may be some problem in your gears, go for a service center checkup..
Same pblm found in my pulsar 180... This gear shifting issue never solve properly..

6 feet se zyada hai to bike chal to jayegi par apke upar achhi nahi lagegi, kyuki isme apke ghutne upar ko dikhenge kaafi alag se, better hai ki aap khud chala ke dekho ek baar agar apko sahi lagta hai to le daalo..

Abhi mere paas Pulsar 150 twin disc hai aur Discover 125M,aur hum bajaj fanboy hain.
Hum ek accha cruising motorcycle dhundh rahe the to P220F, NS200 & CLASSIC 350 ka soche par har kisi me kuch n kuch kami laga aur ek proper cruising motorcycle nahi laga. Phir Uske baad Avenger 220 Cruise ka soch rahe, to kya abhi Bajaj Avenger ko major update dekar ek naya generation launch karegi kyunki abhi to kewal BS6 complaint hi kiya hai.
So should I wait for new generation Avenger with major upgrades ??

Have driven my avenger 18000 KM.now facing one problem that on running my byk is getting off.and don't start till I open the fuel tank lock. Washed the tank and the tank lock cap from service centre but problem not solved.what can I do now?

Almost everyday after riding 10 to 12 km.
may be petrol is the problem, creating some kind of vacuum, if you use same petrol pump, then try other petrol pumps for few days..
but this is a very strange problem..

If you live in ncr , go to Vaishali service centre they solved it. I had the same problem.

It's Tube Tyre , what are the chances of puncture.
If you check your tyres regularly for pressure, and roads are fine then chances are very less.

about maintenance :- it needs to be serviced after 5000 KMS which is quite affordable.

Dhang ki headlights kaafi kam bikes me hain aur ABS wala issue to next year bhi solve nahi hoga. ABS will be necessary lekin companies sirf single channel ABS laga ke sell karengi bikes.

To be honest, it will not look good on you, but looks is mostly depend on your build, so better go and ask for a test ride and check yourself.

depend krta hai baaki service approx 1200 tak ki hoti hai iski, agar koi new part nhi dala mileage 35-40 ki hai..
220 Bajaj BS 6 mein tubeless tyre nahi hai. Spoke wheel hai. alloy wheel nahi hai...
allow wheels are not good for mountains..
@@NishantViews I am planning to buy 220 Bajaj avenger BS6. It is spoke and tube tyre.. Should i go for it.. I have a feeling since it is a tube tyre it might puncture often. Also this avenger has drum brake at the back.. Can u suggest i should go for this bike..I have a height concern, My height is 5.6 so i thought avenger would suit me than Himalayan..
