Should I or I should not? But I have started this journey. This is going to be an epic ride in my life once it's completed. The first day of this ride is been thrilling and full of surprises in the end. And I love twists and surprises in my life. This is longest one day ride in my life and once this entire trip competes, it would become the longest journey on bike for me.

Bhai bike par to saman maine upar par rakh kar 2 wide and long bungee cord se pura tight kar diya. Maine twin saddle bag bhi use kiya tha. Sath me camera aur chhote mote accessories ko samne ek bag me rakh diya tha. Baki jo riding jacket ya riding pant hai wo maine ek store se kharida tha Bangalore me.
Action camera mai GoPro ka use karta hu. Mere paas hero 5 aur hero 7 hai. Sath hi sath main power bank apne sath me rakhta hu. Ek aur pump bhi maine sath me rakha tha. Aur ek puncture kit sath me kuch mechanical tool maine sath me rakha tha jo kabhi kaam nahi aaya. 😊😊

I am 51 years old and I want ride from Hyderabad to jharkhand via Nagar.I have also 220 street. What is your suggestion.
It to be very honest depends on mainly 2 things:
1. Passion towards bike ride and 2. Fitness.
If you are good with both the points then the 3rd point would be the preparation. 4th point would be like how much can you ride in a single day. That will help you prepare your everyday's plan and preparation. Some people can ride more than 500 to 600 kms in a day. Some people are comfortable with 300 kms. If you have every plan handy with you(most importantly first 2 points) then you can ride to any distance. You may take any number if days based in your stamina. 😊
Avenger 220 cc street is capable enough to carry one person to anywhere. It's ground clearance is as good as Royal Enfield classic. Power to weight ratio is also good compared to Bullet. I am sure you will be able to do it. Just concentrate on first 2 points primarily and then you will be good to hit the road. 😊

Fog light imp h kya .?? Night me .. normal light se kam ni chalega kya
Do baate hain.
1. Fog lamp illegal hai, as per traffic rules.
2. Electric wiring alteration se bike ki warranty jaati hain.
Ab jaha tak fog light ki baat hai, ye mujhe jaruri laga kyuki mujhe kisi bhi bike ki default light ka throw night me kaafi nahi lagta hai. Main road par kitne bich me hu ya kinare me hu, uska andaza nahi lagta hai. Wahi par fog light kaam me aata hai. Waise thodi bahut to visibility better ho hi jaati hai.
Dusri baat ye hai ki agar aap occasionally night ride karte ho to aap fog light installation avoid kar sakte ho. Mera ye personal requirement tha kyuki main kahi bhi, kabhi bhi ride karta hu. Aur agar main light fuse hua to fog light backup ki tarah kaam karega.

Long ride me avenger and dominar k petrol dalwane me zada fark ata hai kya? 80-90 kmph pe kaunsi zada mileage deti hai?
80-90 kmph ke speed par thoda sa fayda aapko Avenger me milega. Avenger aapko 40 kmpl ke aas pas ka mileage degi. Dominar ko 80-90 kmph ke speed par chalane me 29-30-31 kmpl ke aas pas ka mileage degi.90-100 ke speed par Avenger 37-39 kmpl ka mileage aur Dominar 28-30 kmpl ka mileage degi kyuki 100 kmph ek sweet spot hai Dominar ke liye aur wahi speed Avenger me stressed ho jata hai long distance me. 😊

Isko ham is tarike se samajhte hain.
Bike agar City me jyada use huyi hai to iske engine oil ko ham log aksar 2500 kms par change karte hain. Iske bawajood ki user manual hame lamba interval deta hai. Iska reason ye hai ki ham jab traffic me stuck karte hain ya slow ride kar rahe hote hain to odo par kilometres nahi increase hote hain magar engine on rahta hai. Engine ke piston RPM ke according move hote rahte hain chahe bike ruki huyi hi kyu na ho.
Mera logic ye hai ki agar ham ghar se market 1 ghante me pahuchate hain aur 20 minutes ke shopping ke baad fir ghar aa jate hain, to is tarah se hamne apni bike ko do ghante lagatar chalaya 20 minutes ke break ke saath. Is tarah se agar bike 40k ya 60k kms complete kar liya to highway ride me bhi hame koi dikkat nahi hain. Isi tarike se bike highway par bhi chalti hai.
Reason 1 - City traffic condition me bike engine jyada stress me rahta hai kyuki clutch aur gear jyada use hote hain. Lekin highway par clutch gear jyada use nahi hota hai. To highway ride jyada easy hai.
Reason 2 - Agar Apne bike ka engine air se cool hota hai to wo bhi highway par jyada speed par bike ko air jyada milti hain. Oil cool (Avenger 220) slightly better cooingl karta hai engine ko.
Reason 3 - Jaise market me shopping karte waqt bike ko 20 minutes ka break dete hain, to highway par ham 30 minutes ka break le sakte hain. Isse bike ke saath saath ham bhi achhe se rest kar sakenge.
Trip par jane se pahle ho sake to engine oil change kara lijiye.
Bike ki speed 80-90-95 ke around rakhiye. Chain ko tight aur achhe se lubricated rakhiye.
Ghar se nikalne se pahle clutch cable, brake cable ke strength ko check karawa lijiye.
1 ghante se jyada lagatar ride mat kariye. Kosis kijiye ki early morning ride jyada ho jaye. Thandhe mausam me engine jyada garm nahi hota hai. Cooling system bhi achha kaam karta hai.
Agar mujhe 60k kms chali huyi bike mili to main uske saath me bhi Leh Ladakh kar lu. 😊
Bas hame apni bike ko achhe se samajhna hoga.
Aapki bike agar well maintained hai to aap bas dariye mat. Aaram se ride kijiye. 😊 Upar ke points ko bas dhyan me rakhiye.

I don't think right now there is any restrictions in traveling across the states. Only Karnataka, Maharashtra and Kerala have some strict guidelines. Additionally some of the states in Himalayas. So you can easily travel across the states. I am sure you would have taken the double dose of vaccine. Keep the certificate handy to produce in case of any checking, which I feel would be rare as of now. Don't worry once you have entered Jharkhand and Bihar. I don't see any trouble in Chhattisgarh and Odisa as well.

Hi Brother. Great that you are fully vaccinated. I would suggest you to keep all the documents of the bike ready before starting the ride. In my case I was not stopped by anyone from Bangalore to till Bhagalpur during my Avenger Bike Ride. But I was stopped several times by checkpost police and Highway police during my car drive. During car drive, covid was at its pick. During bike ride, things were almost settled. 😊
In all my interactions with police, they did not ask for money to me for even once. 😊
I am sure you will have a very peaceful ride. Just plan your stop and stay well and ride safe 😊

But I am little sceptical about sitting comfort for you considering your height at 6'2". Even adjustment of handle may also not help you much in long touring 😊

Agar main aapki bike chalata to 17 se 18 ghante jarur lagata. Har ek ghante par bike ko 15-20 minutes ka rest deta. Khana khane ke liye rukta aur kuch photography karta. 70-80 kmph se jyada speed nahi chalata. Aur jo sabse important hai ki agar route safe hai to main 3 ya 4 baje subah nikal jata taki destination par 7 ya 8 baje tak pahuch jata. Ummid hai ki maine aapke sawal ka jawab sahi se de diya. Bike ko jyada speed mat chalaiye kyuki air cooled bike hai. Engine garm ho jayega. Is liye pahle nikaliye thande me. Achhe se rukte huye jaiye. Happy ride 😊😊

Main apne Bangalore se Goa trip ko aur recent ke kuch trip ko yaad kar ke aapko reply Kiya. Ho sakta hai ki aap jaldi bhi pahuch jayenge but mujhe lagta hai ki 16-17 ya 18 ghante se jyada samay nahi lagna chahiye. 😊

One thing I can boast about my 220 street is the engine smoothness on high speed as well and the break....I just love my avenger...
True. I agree with you. Avenger is really a gift to us from Bajaj. I have taken this bike to every sort of terrain and it did not disappoint me. Although I have bought Dominar recently but Avenger is still my primary bike for majority of my commutes 😊

Avenger 220cc is a very capable bike. It works well on highway and in fact in any terrain. Since I did couple of really very long ride, I felt it little under power. But if it's a trip to 800 kms around then it's really a very good bike to go for. It has proven engine and good mileage. Maintenance is also very low 😊

Just one last thing about your bike, as you mentioned that you are having cruise model and that means that it will have tyre with tube. So carry a puncture kit if you are traveling for a long distance. It.might be helpful. We never know what next is waiting for us 😊

आप मेरी यात्रा से बिल्कुल प्रेरणा मत लीजिए। 😊 मैं बाइक और कार कि यात्रा के मामले में कभी दिल तो कभी दिमाग का इस्तेमाल करता हू। इस लिए कभी सफलता और कभी अनोखे अनुभव का आनंद मिलता है। अब जब रोड पर आ गए तो यात्रा करना ही पड़ेगा। प्लान से सारा काम हो या ना हो, प्लान करना जरूरी होता है। किसी भी सफर मे सारी चीजें प्लान के मुताबिक हमेशा नहीं होती हैं। रास्ते मे सभी चीजें मन मुताबिक नहीं होता है। लगातार गुना भाग करना होता है। हम भी वही कर रहे थे। बाइक राइड पर निकलने के बाद हमे जज्बे के जरूरत होती है। कोई भी दूरी आसान नहीं होती है। कभी हमें अपने आप को बोलना होता है कि थोड़ी दूर और चलतें है। कभी लगता है कि रुक जाते हैं। यही तो अनुभव और यात्रा का आनंद है। हम इसे ही याद से जोर कर देखते हैं और डॉक्यूमेंट कर के रख लेते हैं।

Yes, you are right. Avenger trip was really challenging and at the same time it was fun. I literally enjoyed the extended adventurous Ride on the first day of ride. I loved the Ride from Bhilai to Ranchi, specially around Simdega and Kolebira. Dominar ride was more about the straight line ride and some unexpected incident/accident. I faced huge crowd. I learned how to keep calm, be honest, believe in yourself and trust God. 😊

How was the performance of avenger in highway

Bike performed really well. You would have seen the amount of luggage I had loaded on my bike. It was so much. Even my weight is around 90 kgs. But still bike pulled well. Only thing we have to be sure about that we should not ride this bike faster than 90-100 kmph. If we ride beyond 100kmph then it can have problem in long run in future. Tomorrow on Saturday I am going to upload a video about my almost 4 years ownership experience about this bike. This video would be a very practical video. I won't be speaking about the technical specifications. The content would just be about how functional this bike could be for us. Hopefully that will give you more info about Mileage, range, performance and the character of the bike. 😊

Great video... confused between avenger and honda highness.. which is your suggestions for buying??
Honda Highness has a very beautiful machine. Honda engine will be very smooth. Silencer has a very deep base sound. It can easily cruise effortlessly on 100 kmph for all day long. It has USB charging facility and blutooth connectivity. It's a long stroke engine and power is delivered nicely in the first 3 gears itself. If you become used to of honda highness then it's a beautiful bike.
Now we have to ask ourself few questions.
How much are we going to ride? Where are we going to ride, City or highway? If City then how many kilometres a day? If highway then how many kilometres a day? How often you are going for touring?
These questions will be helping you in making the decision. We also have to know that Honda Highness is sold under Honda big wing premium showroom which is not available everywhere so readily. Maintenance might be slightly on costlier side.
Avenger is easy to maintain, easy on pocket. Mileage is good. 80-90. Kmph is the cruising speed. Avenger has a proven record. Machine is not as refined as Honda Highness but it's not a bad bike either. It's at least 1 lakh cheaper than Honda Highness 😊 . You can use that money for buying safety gears and remaining money to fill petrol for at least 3 major long trips. Accessories are cheaper. Any mechanic can handle the bike. A comfortable seating posture is major plus point 😊
Sufficient power to take one person to anywhere in our country, including Leh, Ladakh and Spiti valley. Good for City as well as highway.
Now, having Bluetooth and USB charging port in Honda Highness should not be a decision making point. You can install mobile holder in Avenger and it would work fantastically for navigation as well as for checking who you are receiving the call from. To charge your phone in emergency, you can carry a power bank. So it nullifies the benifit of Bluetooth and USB charging facility of Honda Highness over Avenger.
Avenger is a very capable bike. I have upgraded my bike to Dominar for just one reason and that is from highway touring and more torque point of view. Otherwise I have enjoyed Avenger all the time on the road. Avenger is still with me and I won't be selling this bike.
If you are upgrading from smaller cc engine to Avenger then please go ahead as it has enough power to give you the thrill. And I already have mentioned the other benifits of Avenger in my advice points. 😊

bhai need suggestion from you. I own a gixxer 155 standard and use it for about 300 km total rides. due to butt pain and knee pain due to footpeg position issues , thinking to get an avenger 220 street
1) does avenger seat also cause butt pain? in how many km? gixxer causes it to me after 100 km and it increases after 150
2) I have installed footpegs at leg guard on my gixxer and that has resolved the knee pain issue. but avenger 's foot position is already good doesnt require to bend the knee so that would be better?
3) gixxer skids on applying rear brake at > 50 speed, how is avenger's braking?
4) how is avenger w.r.t handle holding position and back comfort?
5) which air seat do you use? If I can ride 100 km without air seat with no pain, will it help complete 300 km?
6) does avenger have nice enough power to not feel strain on the accelerator?
the only significant problem is butt pain, if avenger also causes it, should I rather go for air seat on my current bike?

If the issue is all about the butt pain then Avenger is no exception. It just has the right posture but that comes with a disadvantage.
When we sit straight then the whole body weight falls on the butt. And that in turn starts giving pain after we have spent sometime on the saddle 😊
But air seat has definitely played a significant role in reducing the butt pain. I bought air seat of airseat.in from Amazon. 😊
If it's summer then we definitely starts getting butt pain post 150 kms on Avenger.
Sitting ergonomics are quite good.
Avenger Cruise is best in terms of handling on highway but it does not have tubeless tyre 😊
Avenger Street is good in city and OK on highway for tall guy as handle is placed little towards down and bit far from rider. That may cause back pain to rider. I have raised the handle by adjusting the nut and bolt of handle. But still the handle in street model is not as comfortable as Avenger Cruise 😊
Air seat is a good to have option. It will definitely make things better. Just keep the air pressure very less and then there will surely be difference in riding comfort 😊
Avenger 220 is tuned to give good torque in the mid gear. It's good for one person in any terrain. It pulls well in the hills and can cruise in 90-100 whole day long with intermittent breaks. 😊

@@shashiroy83 Hey Bro, thanks for the response. Yes you've covered all the points. This is helpful in deciding the purchase. I am planning to go for used 2016 avenger street 32km running. It has pillion backrest and windshield of cruise model. the advantage is tubeless tires. If I buy this I will change handlebar to the cruise handlebar in future if required.
w.r.t butt pain as this is due to straight posture I am also thinking if sports bike with back leaning towards fuel tank would be a better option so that the body weight doesn't fall at one place... Thanks again.

Avenger 220cc ek bahut hi achhi bike hai. Long ride ke liye sitting posture bhi bahut hi achha hai.
Thoda suspension stiff hai lekin wo jaruri hai highway ride ke liye. Agar kisi bike me Soft suspension hai to wo highway speed par bahut dabne lagta hai. Aur wo turning par ya fir kahin road upar niche hoga to dara dega. Is liye Avenger 220cc ek achhi bike hai.
Mileage 35 se jyada aana chahiye. Pyar se chalne par 40-45 ke aas paas ka bhi mileage de sakta hai. Lekin wo riding style par depend karega. 😊
Service cost: 1200 se 1500 rupees ke andar ayega.
Off-road karne me bike thoda dikkat karega kyuki suspension setup thoda stiff hai.
On road price Bangalore me 1 lakh 30 hajar ke aas paas aani chahiye.
Baki engine bahut hi trustworthy hai. Kahi bhi dhokha nahi degi. Bas achhe se maintain karna hai.

I have got long work from home so now I am travelling back home in my bike. 😊 I belong to Bhagalpur district but my village is almost 15 kms from Bhagalpur. Having that said, i have many relatives in Bhagalpur in almost all the parts of this town. 😊

Car trip was an exception. Just to keep my family safe, I took them out from Bangalore. Just to keep them safe I drove so much to reach my friend's home so that I don't have to stay in hotel in between.
But this time when I am alone and on bike, I took a break and stayed in night in Telangana.
I didn't want to Ride late but didn't get the accomodation sadly. 😊

Thanks for watching the video and question. I am easily getting the mileage of 35+ in my bike. If I ride very fast(90-100) then mileage reduces to 32- 35. But if I ride my bike at the speed around 70-80kmph then mileage would be around 40 kmpl. If I ride in 50-60 kmph then mileage would be 42-45 kmpl. :)

Sir why did you abandon the idea of staying in a hotel judging it by a wine shop at its ground floor?
There were several factors including the bike safety and the quality of stay. Wine shop is common thing in 4 star and 5 start hotel. So that was ok. But the location and surrounding was not giving me so much confidence. 😊
@@shashiroy83 the road you took to Narsara ( if I pronounce it correctly) was both-way? How do you manage to stay calm in such a road especially at night when heavy vehicles tend to overspeed and hardly do they pay heed to small vehicles like bikes .. sometimes a lorry coming from opposite direction comes right before your bike before giving you a space to sneak through
.these are extreme and challenging situations every biker has to face in a two way road.. Add to that impoverished Indian roads( likes of that you encountered in the stretch that outlined the chemical factories) How do you manage these sort of extremities?
It was one way and it is tough to ride in such a condition. We have to ride with maturity and with calm head 😊
It's true that big vehicles usually don't respect small vehicle. We have to keep calm and Ride carefully 😊

Mujhe bhai 2-3 chijen samajh aa gayi hain. Health, age aur job ki koi guarantee nahi hai.
1. Health ka struggle maine khud ka aur meri family me kai logo ka dekha hai. Aisi sthiti aa jati hain ki khud se baithana aur khana bhi mushkil ho jata hai. Sikkim me maine apne knee ko injured kiya tha, Bangalore(flight se) return hone se pahle wrist aur palm ko injured kiya tha. Aisa laga ki ab kabhi long distance ke liye bike ride nahi kar paunga. Somehow I recovered.
2. Age prati din 1-1 din karke kam hota chala jata hai. Ek samay koi khud se bhi bike par mujhe le kar jayega to mera body mere behalf me sorry bolega 😊
3. Koi bhi banda ho, wo apne paise se mujhe kabhi ghumne ka mauka nahi dega. 😊 Is baar main bach gaya lekin agar dusri baar corona jaisi bimari aayi to kitne logo ki job jayegi uski koi guarantee nahi hai. To khud ke paise se jitni memories create kar sakta hu, karne ki koshish kar raha hu 😊
Waise mujhe lagta hai ki agar ye naya wala corona virus ka version UK se India nahi aaya to I am fine and have got enough immune to fight against Corona. Iske bawjood maine mask hamesha lagaya, ye to aapne video me dekha hi hoga. Sanitizer mere sath me tha hamesha. Social Distancing to automatically maintain raha.

Hi Brother, in other way, it's mandatory to install a camera in your vehicle in Western countries to collect the evidence in case you meet any unfortunate accident.
I think in our country it is more important to implement this rule then any other country 😊.

In our country, after meeting the accident, we don't get the time to prove our point. We get punches, kicks, bricks and sometime we get ourselves beaten to dea** 😊 .
Some time we suddenly find an animal walking on the road, we slow down our vehicle or change the direction slightly , other vehicle comes and hit us or we go and hit someone else. There are so many villages which are connecting to the highways directly. There is no arrangement of Street light in many places. There are million of potholes on the road and all these things are inviting an accident. In the end what we rider and driver listens from locals? 😊
