Xbox. PC looks so washed out.

Resolution and performance of the PC version mixed with the color grading and brightness of the Xbox version!

Upon close inspection, you’ll find that the Xbox version has the best self-shadowing on the character models, and you’ll also find those once-jagged lines seen on the PS2 and GameCube feature less of that effect. Additionally, there’s a lot stronger anti-aliasing going on in the Xbox version, and the benefit or sacrifice, depending on what you like, is a softer-looking version. Textures aren’t sharper, but they don’t seem to shimmer and draw the eye as much as its two console counterparts. Regarding the other versions, the PS2 version is pretty sharp looking and actually performs well when transparencies, such as smoke, fill the screen, and the other versions can stutter more often at these moments. However, it has a distinctly rawer look than the others with aliasing, filthier filtering, and the FMVs suffer from a lot more noise than the other versions. In terms of the sound quality, the clarity isn’t quite up on par with the Xbox version, but it sounds decent and separates across all the speakers, unlike the 4.0 audio in the Xbox version where nothing comes out of the center speaker. Moving on to the GameCube version, it definitely looks more polished than the PS2 version. What it really benefits from is a more smoothed-out look, but it still has some of the same aliasing issues, and compared to the sound in the PS2 version, not only are the surround effects much weaker, but the audio is more compressed -- not tinny, but certainly more muddled than in any other version. The PC version expectedly looks the sharpest and runs the smoothest, but for some reason, it has a really bright shading effect that appears to be cast over everything (including Hulk himself), and it just doesn’t look natural at all. The self-shadows also look even worse than they do in the Xbox version.

Brilliant analysis! This in depth comparison allows for making modern patches for these classic games. Thanks a lot

Really prefer the 5-7 second wipes over the 3 second wipes (compare the screen wipes in the “Resolution” portion of the video to the “Anisotropic Filtering” portion)!
I don’t know if it’s just because of the lack of resolution, but it really didn’t seem like the PS2 nor the Gamecube had that much better a frame rate than the Xbox version.
