I Think This Video Has Earned A Trope Called A Day In The Limelight As Septa's Neoplan Is The Main Character Of The Story, His Friends New Flyer Show Up As Supporting Characters
I remember those. I remember seeing a bus with entrance stairs that transform into an elevator for wheelchairs. I remember those from my childhood. I'm currently 17 years old and I see the nova new flyer buses that pop out the ramps.
@@phillip5260 nova new flyer: *looks at Thomas* you can't even survive being in a subway station, because you'd suffocate the people on the platform, then you'd get banned from going into the subway stations, and then you'll get scrapped. You are the stupid one. Neoplan: hah! You bet you're going to win? You can't even do the broad street line train's job, because you're a stean engine and if a steam engine is in a subway tunnel, the steam from the steam engine would suffocate the passengers whom have yet to board the train. Also, you're outdated, thomas. So you still wouldn't survive trying to be a subway train. Also, you wouldn't win against the market frankford line train.
I loved this video. Thank you for takiing the time to record these works of art. I regret not recording Houston's Neopolan AN460's enough before they retired, as you know SEPTA's AN460's are just like ours, but younger.
@JKJ Transit I can't believe that the 90s buses have been gone from Houston for 10 years now. The Neoplans retired in 2012 and the D40LF retired in 2013.
@buswizard Can it be fixed? It would be ashamed to see a good bus be retired before its time. Also, do you know if there is company that makes bellows for buses, b/c I notice the belllows on these AN460's appear to be black and of a diffent styling than that of Houston's AN460's whose bellows are grey and worn. I'm asking because I was thinking of purchasing an articulated bus after I get my CDL, of couse, and I know that by retiring age some bellows are really worn.
@LPenn0505 It should be fixable. The fact that it's gone out of service for this long is entirely mysterious. I have no idea who makes bellows, unfortunately.
@@joechopchop No, Artics that were used on the 22 did not go to comly. Artics disappeared from the 22 due to weight restrictions on a bridge. Artics slowly returned to the 22 starting in 2011 or 2012
@@Eko34tj I realize that. What I meant was that, once 7101-7130 went to Comly, some of Midvale’s Neoplan Artics went to Allegheny. As a result, the 22 lost just about all of the artics that it had.

Thomas the Tank Engine: And Neoplan Bus, you look so stupid, I bet you can't beat me in a race

Will always miss the Neoplans with their highly pitch engines.
LOVING the sounds of the Detroit S50's!!!

I regret not recording CUMTD’s 1990s NewFlyer D40LFs due to the fact they had DDS50 engines!

Thank You very much. This is exactly what I was looking for. Hubner seems to do it all. The hydraulic joint, the bellows, and the coverings.
Plenty of bus action here, like
Amazing. Video. Thanks.for.that. I.love.septa.

@LPenn0505 I think it's an axle problem. I'm not entirely sure.
I only like when it makes that weird sound
Is this in Philadelphia??
This is a cool and a good Video! :D

the SEPTA looks just are 3000's series and 3100's series combined.
They were often found on the 55 and not the 22.
TrainSounds Before some went to Comly for use on the 14, they were on the 22.
