Summer Buses: A Half-Hour of NABIs

A collection of videos and photos of SEPTA's retiring 1996 NABI/Ikarus 416.08 buses. Buses range in fleet number from 5001 thru 5400.
I have videos ranging from 5303-5398, and photos from 5045-5400.

I miss the old septa buses 😢 too bad they all retired 😢

I even grew up with those buses. If they came CNG powered, they would've got refuled by 2005 so they could stay longer. Sad to say that there's only 4 of these buses left thanks to the brand New low floor Nova buses.

I love Nabi Buses there were some in San Antonio but ares are retried around 2018

Septa NABI Mania

I think when SEPTA scrapped them they repurposed the seats and put them on the EL cars. But now those seats were replaced with uncomfortable plastic seats. Don't get me wrong they are better than the original cloth seats the cars came with, they just aren't comfortable.

Baltimore MTA had a lot of these buses with the Cummins M11 in them. Sad to have see the NABI'S go from both cities. Also Miami has a lot of them.
