Summer Buses-Neoplan AN460 Collection

A 20 minute long collection of SEPTA's 2000 Neoplan AN460 Articulated buses that roam the streets of the Greater Philadelphia area. These buses are currently assigned to Comly, Allegheny and Midvale districts. The fleet ranges from 7101-7255.

I think PRT of Pittsburgh had pretty similar buses around 15 years ago or so. I remember them breaking down CONSTANTLY

How does SEPTA keep them in such great condition. Houston METROs Neoplans were beat down by the time they were auctioned off.The bellows were very worn. The DDS50 in ours was not strong like these. METRO purchased them in the same years just about, 1996-1999. Even PAT took better care of there Neoplans than METRO. You know they got our rejected order of 25 units in 1998. At 14 they are still going strong, By 12 ours had 300000 miles avg,so I thought that they could go longer. Thnx for video!
