When I worked 'up West' office wear was suits, etc. , then came ' dress - down Fridays' which lead to 'dress- down weekly' - except I think it helped one's promotion not to over do it.
If you haven't already done it, it would be interesting to see what men's shops you recommend in London for the different styles: British, Italian, French, American, mixed, formal, casual, country etc.
I'm sure Vlad likes a Barbour Asby & an international biker jacket (?). If I may recommend t shirts from UK brands? Spoke & John Lewis > Reiss. I admire Permanent Style from a distance ( at the mo).
Thr UK has some of the best tailore in the world but to my surprise not many people make use if it. Many if the channels i follow the clientele is actually from the US and other countries.
Italian living in Lonon here. Thanks for talking about those awful bright brown shoes, a real disgrace! IMO London is generally underdressed, like everywhere else. I’ll keep wearing a suit, blazer or sport coat eveytime I can tho. Cheers
Having travelled to a lot of places. London men are overall the most well dressed in the world. Places like Milan, Paris etc. You’ll get some well dressed men. But overwhelmingly, London men win. I have never felt under dressed anywhere I went. Until I visited London.
Most people are very slovenly dressed in sportswear amd other ill fitting wear. This is partly because most people in the UK are overweight to obese now. It's shocking if you stop, sit and relax with coffee and watch the people. A really downtrodden country.

I love my crockett and jones.
Went to school in England and Scotland it was beautiful woolens and tweeds, 👍
Could not fully understand Mike in the beginning. Where are the loafers from?
Berwick, I believe
London is amazing . Traditional quintessential shops like Creed, Penhaligon, Floris, Turnbull & Asser, Apreys, Holland& Holland. Only in London
that doesn't make londoners elegant
0:41 where does he say his shirt is from? I hear 'Luxia' but find nothing in Google.
Luxire
Where to find a good Harington-like jacket? The Harrington original are too expensives.

Average income vs costs of tailoring. It's really hard to afford tailoring unless you are amongst the top earners.
Those mid brown shoes... my eyes are still bleeding!
hahah

but when? in 1970? not today right???
Really depends on which part of London, as shown in the video
Crime rate is very high in London, maybe men don't want to stand out as being wealthy for fear of attracting unwanted attention.
they can keep their watches at home but a well cut suit is not flanboyant
On the contrary, the brown shoes are good partnered with the blue suit...
Dark brown not that shitty brown they are wearing ;)
Correct..the light brown shoes look excellent with a blue suit
@@EnduringAttire prefer burgundy oxfords!
I prefer the Italian style.
Better than Italian style
There aren't many British Men in London
Ah, next time you are in London, I owe you a beer haha
Thanks! I'll take your word for it
Too many commercials
Koszmarnie wygląda plecak do garnituru.
That Drake's employee needs a makeover. Horrible shirt collar and then there were the white socks. Yikes!
Actually IMHO they are pathetic in their dress and should be ashamed of themselves when London was at one time a sartorial giant!
No brown in the town indeed.
I don't see the reason not to wear brown in town. That rule was appropriate 100 years ago when every man wore a suit and hat.
No light brown. Mid to dark brown, mahogany, oxblood and burgundy can be good choices.
@@alternateunreleasedshellac505there is still some logic to it, in B2B situations and matters of liaison not everyone wants to seem so informal.
@@Olyfrun I only wear black shoes with a black or midnight suit. In today's casual world I think that's absolutely appropriate.

Men’s style has frankly collapsed in the UK.
yes, very very badly!
