Never realized the spooky kids had so many songs recorded i remember back in the 90s hearing maybe one song on a tape a friend had, glad to see you were able to get clean versions
Anybody listening to Marilyn Manson & The Spooky Kids in 2020? I am doing so, and I love them. I'm a fan from Britain, so I don't really understand why they were very underrated before their name got shortened to Marilyn Manson. I am a proud spooky kid and a Mansonite. Blessings and love from the UK 🖤🦇
Me... I'm from Italy. I don't like MM's music but I love the sountracks of the Spooky Kids era... I can't understand a single word sung by Manson but the riff and the harmony of this song really impressed me and the music evokes many feelings in the depths of myself
2024 and going strong, i'm in high school and one of the only people i know who listen to marilyn manson or bands like him (ex. mlwttkk, joj or white zombie)
One of the most creative guitar tracks i've ever heard! The entire composition of the song reminds me heavily of Swamp Thing by The Chameleons, also a great guitar track.
+Chris Baskin It's reportedly an unreleased song, at least according to Wikipedia. Here's the explanation that Wikipedia gives: ""Thrift" is the seventh and final track on the 1992 release Live as Hell. It was initially planned to be officially released in 1991 on the band's then-seventh cassette, Thrift, but this demo was shelved for reasons unknown. Curiously, while Madonna Wayne Gacy did not receive a music credit for the song on Live as Hell or Refrigerator, his name is credited in the liner notes of Lunch Boxes & Choklit Cows."

Scott was so talented and Manson absorbed much of that. Brian had the words but Daisy had the soul. i could listen to this song without lyrics until my death and it would still be beautiful to me
The man deserved so much more credit. Brain is a smart guy, but his ego is his own worst enemy. He’s had some of the best musicians in his corner and he just pushes everyone away. That’s typical of a trauma survivor tho- they project onto others and relive the trauma over and over again in someway.... I hope Scott’s at peace, and I pray Brian finds his.
Doubt you'll see this but just randomly wanted to finally thank you after 7 years of listening to these. Also regarding some things you uploaded once and didn't keep around...It made me happy to see that I wasn't the only one to wind up there from here. Probably for the best you didn't leave it up though as youtube doesn't like guys who know things much. Hope you get by well in this fucked up world and thanks for these uploads as they've done a lot for me over the years.
