This, killing strangers, slave never dreams to be king, and Deep Six are by far my favorite songs that he has ever put out. Thank you, Marilyn. We still love you.
I got stuck on an 18 hour flight to Hong Kong back in 2016 and this was the only good song the little media box in the seat. I swear I listened to it on repeat the entire damn flight. Great song
If i'm asked "What's the definition of artist ?" I'd simply answer: Marilyn Manson. Seriously, I think he's one of the most artistic artists. Every song he makes is telling such an interesting and true story! I can't do nothing else than prostrate myself. Bravo, Mr Manson!
Ever album is a shawdow of him growing and maturing. I have been a fan since, well forever cause I cant remember, and I grow right along and love every song he has made! Manson kicks ass!!! Those who think otherwise need to read his book.
The Listener hah I see your point, though I still think he's closer to "God" than all those self-proclaimed God-worshipers. Anyway, it's just semantics, I think my intentions were clear & he wouldn't mind ;)
Excellent album. This guy is a genius. I love how his music evolved with him getting older. It's more of a Gothic Industrial style now. His style changed so much since Portrait of an American family. Lovin it..
I don't know if I can open up I've been opened enough I don't know if I can open up I'm not a birthday present I'm aggressive reggressive The past is over Now the passive seems so pathetic Are we fated, faithful, or fatal? I was always different. Always a loner. Loved Manson. At the time it was Holywood. I'd wear black, paint my nails, piercings the whole nine bit. I never felt I belonged anywhere. Marilyn Manson (Brian Warner) changed my life. Much love førTwiggy too regardless. Cheers!
Eric Halverson his real name is brian warner. he was born into the warner family that make disney movies. you know all the mickey mouse brainwashed stars like christina aguliera justin timberlake britney spears, they all come from the Warners the brainwashed disney kids that promote an agenda of dumbing down the masses through music and entertainment. The manson fans are so brainwashed and idiotic that they don't even know this. marilame mansin wears the mickey mouse ears and everything but still his stupid fans don't get it and are unable to process that he is a puppet for the media, who want to enslave mankind and turn them into robots. Talk to any manson fan and you will see how brainwashed and idiotic they are. They are like parrots who just quote everything marilame says. also why do you think all of his wives left and divorced him. He can't keep and please a woman, they all leave him.
what's great about this track is how wistfully the guitar starts off -- and remains over the course of the song without being overdone. "don't know if I can open up" -- one can really track manson's progression here, which only makes the claim of the song's title that much more significant. he hasn't fallen off, despite the fact that so many other artists and music in general has over the past decade or so. it's refreshing.
I find it funny whenever people want to call me goth, emo, weird, satanic, and souless because I listen to Marilyn Manson. But, I don't care... And I've learned to not care because of this man. He knows how to hit my feelings. His songs describe exactly how I feel. Idc let other people think whatever, I like scaring people anyways. Thank God for Marilyn.
I started listening to him when I turned 13, I'm 22 now and love him even more. My mom absolutely hated that I listened to him but I didn't care either. She thought it was a phase but I still listen to him so it wasn't a phase mom hahaha. Anyway, when I hear this man's voice it just grabs at me and I can't really explain it you know? When people find out that I listen to his music they look at me like I've grown a second head lol. I guess because some people look at me and figure I'm the least expected person to listen to Marilyn. I really want to see him live and id probably stick out like a sore thumb lol but it's on my list so I'm gonna do it anyway :)
It's the same exact thing with my mom. She hates him so much, and she also thinks it's a phase i'm going through. I don't think it's a phase. I know exacty what you mean. His voice just hits you and it's ugh so unexplainable.HIs lyrics are art. So amazing. Glad you still to Marilyn, he's the best.
Lisette Guevara Kinda same here...😚😚😚😚😚 Not because of Warner, but also I love his music, I like him as a person... I like him as a whole... It doesn't bother me, as a Christian 😉😉😉😉😉 Usually there are other humans/people who can destroy each other (comparison- animals to not hate each other, they just kill or hurt only to protect their kind, survive or for food...)... When they're threating You as if You were a devil, calling You as a devil, acting towards You as if You were a devil, seeing You as a devil, it's strange and irrational, how they are terrified snd suprised, when You're actually become one 😕 That's why I love MM both as a person and as a artist- he helps me "rise for every occasion", reminding me, that everyone of us is at least partially "Mephistopheles of Los Angeles" and that we should be pround because of that...
I like his statements and music for 21 years now, and I am amazed, how the dayz went by... As I read here, I am not the only one who listened to mm´s music, when times were shitty, and also, when times were fine. when I´m thinking back, I connect my older youthtime mostly with marilyn manosn. I´ve had made it much harder for me to grow up, then it normaly would have been, by handling my problems with drugs. or TRYIED to handel them in a way, that i don´t had to think about them for the short time, when i was high... Some songs, of mm, when i´m listening to them NOWADAYS are giving me a very strange feeling, like tripping back to the feelings I´ve had, when I was 18 or 19... But it also gives me an unbelivable feeeling of strenth, because i know, that i made it. some of my friend of those days are not alive anymore because of the drugs they took, but I´ve made it out alive. And not only that: I am a healthy, good looking (yeeeeah!!), smart guy, who will marry his girl in summer 2015. I am really grateful for the music, and the thoughts I´ve thought because of his lyrics. Keep on rocking, Brian-Keep on shocking Mr. Manson!!
Crazy I've worked security for concerts almost 15 yrs now backstage V.I.P. BS he is one of da coolest and treats us security very cool and he is very intelligent lot of coo stuff to say
Marilyn manson. Nuff said. Own every song, book, movie, 6 tattoos, and cant get enough. Every album just evolves in such an amazing way. All the way from portrait (and earlier for that matter satan on fire etc) to pale emporer. Gotta love it.
I miss this guy a lot. Met him and thought about how normal he is. But the spot light is too much right now. Hope I get to see him again in the same light soon because he truly is a part of the introvert identity this country has been involved with from the late 90s early 2000s.
Madonna & you Mister Mason are my favorite two artists at the time. Thank you, dsue. This is in the living artists group of course...................xxoo
Congratulations MM! well done!
Mazza has never disappointed me in last 20years. I luuurrve lyrics his ethics through his stories from what I can relate to. Any other Mazza fans plz message me. Only we understand. 😈😊😊x
Much grinding to be felt with this....yup , oh yes & own headset felt here to certain parts played with a nice echo of beautiful people, beautiful people mixed in there/resounded with me xx

No one has ever taken me so deep inside myself than this man. God bless you Brian Hugh Warner! -yes, you are fated, fateful, fatal!
Saying god bless you to Brian Warner is lik-- you know what, neverminf.
The Listener hah I see your point, though I still think he's closer to "God" than all those self-proclaimed God-worshipers. Anyway, it's just semantics, I think my intentions were clear & he wouldn't mind ;)
MadMadame Well, personally I agree ☺
MadMadame you so realize that he's confirmed that the religion he follows is satanism right?
Fuuuuuuucking good song! Powerful voice, and the music just perfectly performed and mixed. This guy is a fucking genius.

Mechanical Animals is still my favorite album
Love this song❤️
Faithful knowledge, fated destination, and fatal to anyone that doesnt know the truth! Keep smiling!
Defiantly hear some Beautiful People in the rhythm at the beginning.
With each new album more divine!
Ooh Doctor Faustus theme, cool :)
I love how this is the only comment I hear that recognizes that this is a reference to the Tragical History of if Dr. Faustus. Good on you.
Ooh a dark brotherhood initiate, cool!
MewxBerry I approve
Jade Hei XD
I feel like it's more of a reference to the original legend of Faust than Marlowe's work, but seeing other people's appreciation of the allusions is awesome to see :)
i like this song
