I think the Vanguard is the weakest. Most of the tanks in this video were dumb enough (surprisingly some of them were good players) to either go face to face against a Vanguard or continuing to engage a Vanguard when Bass pops his shield instead of seeking cover. That's not how you deal with a Vanguard, and Bass, in some clips, was in such bad spot for a Vanguard to be in and won the fight because they didnt disengage and go to cover, repair, and attack with better approach or play around cover and terrain. Still though, Bass is a skilled tanker and would have managed :).
is the best tank for dueling in my opinion but the shield can be easily outplayed anyway , i lost fights because I used the shield too early for example. Is a really bad tank when you have to fight infantry or move quickly, is balanced :)
I remember the time when the shield worked for 8 seconds and absorbed absolutely all the damage, the enforcer had 10 shells in the clip. At that time I was playing for nts on a ru server. And with a good luck, we could fight 4 prowlers at the same time. He was head and shoulders above the rest of the tanks. Then he was nerfed and the Vanguard became, in my opinion, the weakest MBT.
@@fwsa3874 To kill prowlers in a vanguard, put the shield up before he hits you, get in his face and blow him apart. To kill maggies, keep your tank facing his and put shells on target (maggy is quite a weak tank overall, but it is hard to hit).

Very nice gameplay! The shield use is on point for each engagement, I always feel like I'm popping it too early when I play vanguard ;)
