This music accompanied me on my pilgrimage along the Camino de Santiago that I made in the month of May. Listening to this melody immersed in those magnificent landscapes of northern Spain was an epic experience, tears of emotion fell from my eyes before such ancient magnificence.

Tengo 44 años y siempre me gustó el sonido del violín, pero nunca me atreví a tocarlo. aunque esta canción ya la conocia desde el estreno de la pelicula, no fue hasta que escuché esta version de Rusanda Panfili cuando me enamore de esta canción y no solo eso, en mi cabeza algo hizo clic al escucharla que decidí aprender a tocar el violin, aqui estoy con 44 años y aprendiendo y completamente loco por el violin, toco como una vaca, pero espero algun dia poder tocar esta cancion, aunque sea mal. Por cierto vi a Rusanda en en concierto de Hans Zimmer en Madrid y si en el video es increible y en directo ni os lo podeis imaginar.

How could there even be one dislike for this video? It takes a Hans Zimmer to remind us how beautiful music can be and a Rusanda Panfili to remind us how beautiful the violin is. When both are combined it almost feels like God is singing to us.

After her life performance of that piece in Bulgaria, I bought a violin and started learning at the age of 27. That was 2 years ago and I still haven't give up !
Cool :P I even went twice to the Hans Zimmer show in which she played. This piece was both times the best and most stunning. I'm now 24 years old and I started 1,5 years ago with violin and this was the first piece I started learning (without vibrato and higher positions ofcourse). The cool thing is that I use this piece now to practice my vibrato :p. In what stage are you of learning violin? doing vibrato and stuff?

Superb dialogue between the violin and the cello, everything else is almost unnecessary. The violin sound is stoning, almost an alto. Rare to see musicians going this deep into a score, and getting its true essence. A rare moment of magic, and a gorgeous homage to Zimmer"s genius. Simply magnificent.
