Hello Nihilo 👋 Many thanks for such a wonderful comment and feedback. 😊🙏 So happy you have enjoyed and learned from my videos. Please show me your progress!! Yes I will have more hand brushing, always! 💯😅👋
@9:09 "It's just a plastic model". I've been saying this quite a bit in a number of groups - it's surprising how precious many modellers get in regards to these lumps. Sure, there can be hours and days of work into these things, but it's not like we're ending world hunger, curing cancer, or solving world peace.
I've also been painting a Lunadiver Stingray lately. I also went with the red and white paint scheme, but I'm hand painting using Mission Models acrylics using something like the technique Mike Rinaldi has been showing off in his livestreams
Handsome model so far, nice to see the various types of application, as how I would naturally use these tools is so different from how much more experienced hobbyists use them. Can't say I'm that nostalgic for citadel paints, "Wrong yellow" automatically translates to "Sunburst yellow" to this day...
@@PaintonPlasticbyLincolnWright i always thought i could recover if i give it another pass of coat... Then disaster happens. I'm just not used to hand brushing lacquers but seeing you work makes me itch to try again.

So good! Love the “how to zig” perfection.
Thanks so much! That's a great name too ^^

Sunburst Yellow was EXACTLY the wrong yellow I meant too 😆👏
Great Tutorial!! Thanks for sharing
Many thanks Michael 🙏
Aah really excited to see how this painting technique will end up!
Thanks!!
You got a surprising amount of coverage with that can of white!
Yeah it was a lucky break to squeeze that much out of it! 😂
Uncle linc, can i get an advice on handpainting lacquers? I always seem to lift the paint under, sometimes even the primer.
Best thing I can suggest is to immediately back off when the under layers start to reactivate and come back later. 👍
