    Sharding Sphinx is actually pretty good, it makes a 1/1 per creature that deals damage, so across turns can become exponential.

      Also, if you attack all 3 opponents you get 3 thopters. Which the more thopters you have becomes easy enough.

      @@thrasherftw It doesn't matter how many opponents. If 3 artifact creatures will hit the same opponent, you still will get 3 thopters

      [Edit: didn't see that @Betaflow replied with the same info. My bad]
      not that it matters that much, but you don't even have to attack 3 players.
      "Whenever an artifact creature you control deals combat damage to a player..."
      If you deal damage to 1 player with 5 artifact creatures, you get 5 thopters. If you deal damage to 3 players with a total of 5 artifact creatures you get 5 thopters. It is the number of creatures that mattet; not the number of players.

    I just bought unwinding clock for this deck. I feel like all the artifacts and artifact creatures coming in and tapping for certain things to get worth out of them would be nice during everyone else’s turn.

    It would be cool if you could do another upgrade guide that sticks with the retro theme itself.
    I just grabbed Both mishra and urza decks and have been doing this since I grabbed em. Thanks for the guide nevertheless 👍🔥

      I put in three of the secret lair talisman to match the retro border style 😎

    I love the deck and changed a few things. Smothering Tithe seems obvious, the continuous flow of Treasure tokens power up the constructs and give you free mana. Tivit, Seller of Secrets while not an artifact creature, gives you treasures or clues on ETB and a successful hit, meaning Tivit is a constant flood of clues for cards, treasure for mana, and the tokens provide extra pump for your Construct tokens to boot.

    I keep thinking it, but apparently nobody agrees that a Phyrexian Triniform would be a fun include

      If you can sack it reliably, then yeah, good card. Add in the fact that you can reduce its cost with a bunch of different things to make it 3-6 mana isn't to bad either.

    I've played my version of the deck a few times. I'm considering taking out the artifact lands that aren't indestructible. The danger of an artifact wrath is so high in my playgroup.

    • @Tae_Grixis
      @Tae_Grixis 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I'm thinking that too. I have been playing artifacts as my main theme since 2013 and I hardly ever play them. I'll put aside one basic land for each color to slot them in if those artifact lands don't do too well.

      Eleven months later...how are you feeling about the deck and the experience you have gained since then? I typically auto-remove anything that doesn't fit the theme or synergy of the deck.

    Could someone explain how mishra's worskshop powers up nettlecyst? I'm fairly new to MTG and am still small brain.

    • @SCGCommander
      @SCGCommander  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      I think it's the other way around, Nettlecyst helps power up Urza's Workshop since it adds to your Metalcraft total.

    • @sporksabre
      @sporksabre ปีที่แล้ว

      @@beauhoebo3570 nah... you didn't miss hear. They said "This can be powered up by Mishra'a workshop"
      However, since they replied, they obviously ment urza's workshop. I don't blame them for the mistake at all, Mishra and Urza are almost synonymous with artifacts. With both brothers coming out at the same time, the amount of deck reviews they do, and the fact that both Urza and Mishra have workshops, it is an easy mistake to make.
