I have a tumbling block quilt I started over thirty years ago and gave up on when it came to piecing together. The book I was using had me joining rows and it was awful (this was in olden days before the golden interwebs existed). Now that I’ve watched this, I’m finally going to do it! Thanks for a great tutorial.

Thank you Nancy, I really enjoyed this video. I know that I shall need to watch it again and again in order to get it firmly fixed in my head, but that's the fun of learning! Gill from the U.K.

I love these quilts. You use color so well. The Dutch reproduction fabrics are fabulous.

I have never tried any Tumbling Blocks; because, they looked too hard to do. I do my Hexagons on paper by hand; because, they looked too hard to do on a sewing machine. Now I know better, thanks to you. I just need to practice, practice, practice. If we have a bad winter, I'll have time to try. Thank you for this video.

Wow! I wish this video had been available a year ago when I decided to make two twin sized tumbling block quilts for two very special little girls. During the first one I worked out some bugs but overall was happy with the result. I pressed many seams open and used spray sizing as mentioned in your video. I like the idea of working circular. I wound up starting in the lower left corner and worked up and out adding one block at s as time. I love some of your other ideas to use this shape in a quilt.

Thank Nancy, I’ve always been amazed with the tumbling blocks. Your instructions were excellent. The funny part of quilting is the more I get into quilting the more I realize I don’t know. Thank you so much for sharing your technique. 👍❤️😊

I created my Jack’s quilt with all set in seams. It was a labor intensive project but it turned out really neat! I sent you an email with pics. It’s called “Collective Chaos”. This video was wonderful! Thank you Nancy!
