The jokes, adlibs, and improv you guys incorporated into your show, made this even more hilarious!
Dear Evan...I know you dont know me...but I wanted to send a heartfelt "THANK you for capturing this musical....I was cast as Barfee in a community theatre production of "The Spelling Bee"...this is the first play I've done in 14 years (hello 41...lol)...and I loved watching all of your cast's hard work (shame the lady playing Rona had a sore throat...but I'm sure she sings beautifully)

So with my Magic Foot rendition, I'm allowed to basically do what I want for my dance moves so long as I get to the right places at the right times...I think I'm gonna take a couple of things from this particular performance.
Oh my gosh, MItch's voice is fantastic!
I'd almost say there is no fourth wall in this show, since the audience of the show is considered just the audience of the spelling bee. I was also William Barfee, in my colleges production, such a fun role.

Fourth /wall/, I think you mean. And we have audience members on stage, for goodness sake. The fourth wall barely even exists in this show.

@supersingerevan Billy's used a lot in the example sentences.
@LauKungPow94 There is a list in the back of the script of possible audience member words. It includes the definition and use in a sentence for each word listed. You should look up pronunciations for every spelling word in the show yourself though, because pronunciations are not listed, and are sometimes mispronounced on the cast recording. Our Panch obviously made up some of his own words and uses in sentences of course, so if you wanna do it, do it! It's funny!

@rrw474 I don't mind at all. One thing I say is definitely keep the blackitude in the interpretation of singing the song. No one wants to hear a poppy voice sing a gospel song. Hope the play went well!

I may get casted as Panch and I was wondering, does he have a cheat sheet with him and a list of words he can use? Like I know he improv'd a lot of them, but is there a list for Panch to look upon for words?
