"And I'm sick too but I'm here..." XD wonderful
Aw, poor Rona! We're doing this at my school in the fall and I got Rona. I really hope that doesn't happen to me, but she sounded great just speak-singing her lines!
This Rona is a queen
Despite Rona's lost voice and other minor errors, this is the best production of Putnam I've seen on youtube yet =)
Of all the TH-cam videos of this show's various productions, this one is my favourite and I've probably seen it about four times now over the years. Everyone is so talented, and I hope all of the actors went on to do amazing things. This Rona is the best, it sucks that she lost her voice but man, she OWNS it. It adds to her charm. Everyone is PERFECTLY cast and does a fantastic job.
Yes, she completely lost her voice during this weekend of shows. It was a rather unfortunate turn of events, but she handled it extremely well.
I love this added character to explain the no cell phone thing. It was explaining the audience's 'rules' while saying so in such a funny way!!!
The girl playing Rona did so very well, considering she sounds so clearly sick!
This is so amazing! To be quite honest, Rona was my favorite even with her losing her voice. I think her rapping her last "My Favorite Moment of the Bee" makes this even better especially since the show is described as quirky.
This is a star performance! Well done and Bravo :D i replay all the parts constantly!
dayum! even with a messed up voice, rona sounded fabulous!!
Awesome performance, everyone! This is the first time I've been able to see a whole production.. The show was done here in town a few years back, but, I was in the pit so I didn't really get to "watch". Also props to Rona who was absolutely great despite the voice loss!
i love it how you guys are soo original!!
This production is absolutely awesome thank you so much for uploading it:)
i've watched a bunch of clips of different interpretations of this show including broadway, and this is the best ive seen! everyone fits their parts so well!!!!
The guy who plays Leaf Coneybear is so frickin' adorable(: I love himmmm
I feel soo bad for Ronnaa!!!! that really stinks losing your voice before a performance!!!
@barenaud13 Only the children were double-cast. The 4 adults were those roles for both casts, so we only had one Rona.
@TaylortheTuckerGirl Thank you! And best of broken legs on your show. Funny thing is, this version was double cast too ;)
I like this cast!!
@supersingerevan She sings and performs very well for someone who lost their voice (:
@TaylortheTuckerGirl Ha! I guess breaking a leg really does help you get the part... And actually, it was "acouchi" and "syzygy". This is the "acouchi" cast.
Community theatre company for teens 15-22 :)
I love Chip, he's as skinny as I am ♥
Odd flex
@ilovcake91 Stage lighting doesn't always show up too terribly well in most pictures or video unless it was designed particularly to be photographed or filmed. In my experience, I have to raise the lights a good 30% to make it look right.
BUT I FEEEL SOOOO BAD FOR RONA> OMG> That has happened to me. She is trying so hard to cover it :)
@DistinctlyRandom She had lost her voice for this performance, spoke pretty much all of her singing lines.
i love you Emma!!!!!!
@azmocha Nope, it's a teen community production.
@ilovcake91 Do you mean the lighting, or the set? The set is pretty minimal, and black was just the backdrop of the stage. If you mean lighting...I couldn't tell ya. Didn't really seem to bother anyone in the audience.
Rona sounds like Rachel Ray if she played Rona....
rona seems to have a soar throat
awwwww poor emma!!!
If the production was double cast, why did Rona still go on with no voice?
2:32 Story of my life.
Poor Rona :(
Love this cast! But did the girl who plays Rona have a bad cold? Her voice sounds really tired :(
@supersingerevan Such a shame, she did indeed!
