MR12 is absolute garbage without economy changes ... no real comebacks possible, game is over once you win pistol + conversion. Too many "stomps" even though it could have been a comeback in MR15
isn't it possible to come all together and ask valve to give us back old tickrate and remove subtick, i feel like 128 was the best but 64 tick also felt more consistent than subtick, the rest of the game might be inproved even in a year or two but sucktick is a real turnoff
CSGO: Performance (this is massive for vast majority of ppl, don't need a 5k pc to play), movement, awping CS2: Util improved for sure, new smokes and nades opening smokes. Gunplay in general feels improved imo, but peekers advantage can be a bit annoying sometimes.
Idk really, just personal preference setting that a lot of people asked, they added a shittier version of it, and then removed it. Really feels like it was out of spite, but why doe?
Bro Aleksi thank you I would hope more pro people to come out and make valve change the subtick of mouse or something so the shooting feels the same crisp like it felt in csgo. It was instant feedback when you hit your target but in CS2 it feels more like a gamble.
That point about CS2's graphics is true. There is too much visual clutter that makes it harder to quickly see enemies, tires out the eyes, and makes the game run worse.
Besides Skyboxes and Dynamic Smokes and bit of map and texture polishing, what did CS2 actually add that is better than CSGO? Literally nothing else lol. Just bring back CSGO honestly ;d work few more years on CS2 and release it again.
One thing people don't talk about that much is color grading, color temperature. In CSGO the colors were neutral, sort of like a photo without any editing, the way it looks in real life, unbiased look, the way it should be in competetive games, in my opinion. Now everything has some kind of tint, it's either pink or gold or whatever the f else. And it's pretty tiring on my eyes, I just hate this look. This game doesn't need to be stylized that much. At first I liked the new detail, the game looks gorgeous, but when you're playing to frag, you just don't see the difference anymore. The only thing you see is that the game runs like shit. I'm excited for all the casual experiences this game might bring without the old engine limitations, but they need to do something about the performance. You could run CSGO on a literal potato, but now, when you have a setup good enough to play modern AAA titles maxed-out, you can't get smooth experience in CS2 on lowest setting and lowered resolution, that's just mindblowing to me.
i miss the smoothness of CSGO if CS2 was smooth and as responsive as CSGO, i would prefer CS2, but so far, CSGO a lot better the fact that CS2 is out for over a year and still feels shit isnt helping, yea they are fixing things, but at what rate? the game should have been already fixed! i dont know what are develepers doing at the moment, if they are on vacations 24 7 or they are all working on deadlock and forgot about cs, i dont know but its sad to see
even if cs2 was as smooth, the engine makes things interact horribly, smokes and mollies are a joke, mr12 is trash, movement sucks not only because the game is unresponsive, but also because player weight is too high, and shadows made them ruin the way people look when they move around. The graphics make it harder to see, everything is washed out, and the tracers are too big bright and slow, which makes spraying suck, not to mention first person tracers are every bullet instead of every 3 like in go and in real life. There's so many core issues with the game that I know damn well valve will never do anything about
After 2.5k hours of CSGO. Tons of money spent on cases and skins. I quit CS2 and don't see myself going back unless its to look at my skins or to sell them in the future. Valve destroyed yet another IP.
I miss movement and feed back when shooting the most. in cs2 i feel like i am dragging my nuts on the ground but in csgo i feel light and can actually hit bhops. shooting feels okay in cs2. i kind of like spraying in cs2 probably cus they made it easier. but shooting sometimes feels so bad.
As someone who hasn't touched CS for 5 years it's fun to hear people talk about CS:GO like it was the videogame manifestation of Jesus christ himself. The game was buggy and was already showing its age when I stopped playing it. People seems to have memory holed the fact that people were complaining just as much back then. Reddit was filled with clips of missed hit boxes, admiringly often on the basis of unreliable demos that wasn't a true representation of gameplay. CS:GO definitely wasn't "almost perfect", far from it. Most of these points could be and was also made when the switch from 1.6 to GO happened. Movement was better, hit reg crisper, less problems with sound cue's etc. The fact is that at some point the game has to be updated if the community doesn't want to go the way of Dodo, Warcraft 3 and TF2.
@@Jake-bt3fc at what point did I say wasn’t worse? Maybe engage with the actual point being made instead of manufacturing one that you would like to disagree with.

yeah csgo was complete shit at release, of course it went better by the time but ppl was getting used to degradation and a worse game overall, csgo didn't even take the best parts of 1.6 and implement them into the game, like movement for exampel imo csgo was kinda broken and never fully completely, far away, so cs2 must be very shitty since the difference isn't that big or players just got picky asf tldr: if ppl could getting used to csgo after 1.6, cs2 should not be a big deal lol

Valve can do what they like with CS2, go in whatever direction they want but leave CS:GO available so we can have our game back in the state we enjoy.
@@dunny heck no, i couldnt "choose" to play 1.6 cause there was no competitive gaming in 1.6 after csgo released. no ladders, gathers, tournaments or what so ever since everyone moved over to csgo despite the game was really bad imagine that valve had kept the game, you think they would have provided you with matchmaking servers and all that? hell no, u would've been in the same situation and forced u 2 move over to cs2 for competitiveness or faceit or whatever u play, they would also move over and stop providing csgo servers sooner or later at times like this it is very difficult to maintain a community, when valve is releasing/forcing a new game, it's more consequential than you seem to understand who tf wants to running around and play public 16v16 players i left that noob/casual stage long ago, even if the game still was there i would tired quickly of the non existent community
I've been begging valve for like 7 years to lower the duration of smokes, the ability to smoke one entrance and effectively cut off all push potential, then just do it again after the first one starts to fade, wastes so much fking time. Blowing open the smokes is sort of interesting, but I honestly prefer the old smokes for many gameplay reasons when they weren't able to be blown open like ninja defusing, the mindgames, and more. The filling mechanic is also kind of goofy and I wouldn't care if they removed it, as long as they fixed one ways when removing them. Nobody liked the extremely passive gameplay the crazy long lasting smokes forced, but if you were fed up and just wanted to push through, you were just going to get railed, otherwise cs:go was better in almost every aspect.

It's a story as old as time. Every new version release of CS has had these complaints and phases of nostalgia. I grew up on the betas. Source and CSGO were not smooth, crisp, or responsive compared to 1.6. Even 1.6 felt bogged down compared to 1.5. Source and GO had "too much graphics" and was "too detailed" compared to 1.5. CS GO with the CS 2 smokes and graphics would be the perfect game. That's all we needed Valve, no subtick, no peeker's advantage, no changes on the spray.
Facts on facts on facts
Aleksi just straight up reminiscing about the GOAT, what he said is absolutely true, the crispness was insane, the satisfaction was unmatched. Long Live the KING CSGO, you may have died but you will never be forgotten
Honestly, the only thing I like about CS2 is MR 12 and the smokes. I can understand how some might hate MR12 since it makes the pistol round even more important, but now that I have less and less time for games, I really like you can play a quick game, the teenage me would have hate that tho haha
Wtf. 😮 same 2 things what I like only alswel 😂 sub tick is poop
in go you had short matches, so i don't think that would justify the change as much, at least not for non pro scene
MR12 is absolute garbage without economy changes ... no real comebacks possible, game is over once you win pistol + conversion. Too many "stomps" even though it could have been a comeback in MR15
we had short matches on csgo, that was perfect for your case
@@nergal2741 yea fr feels like uve lost the game even though u barely lost any rounds
I just went back into csgo and tried it. Espacially AK, AWP and the pistols feel so good its unreal
"always good to be proven wrong". one of many reasons why Aleksib is one of my all time favorite IGLs. Good leaders know when theyre wrong
Make CSGO Great Again
True....Sub Tick is the worst thing Valve came up with.... If they replaced the servers with the tick 128, life would be better.....
Its amazing that everyone in community, from everyday players, to professionals and media personalities, all agree on one thing. CS:GO was better.
all the time they spent on "subtick" couldve been spent on making the CS2 we all wanted and just doing 128 tick. they make $$ billions on cases.
I was so optimistic at the start of cs2 :(
I feel like that s1mple shot in nuke a main to secret would not even be possible in cs2.
Just need to update the .exe
i cry evertim
isn't it possible to come all together and ask valve to give us back old tickrate and remove subtick, i feel like 128 was the best but 64 tick also felt more consistent than subtick, the rest of the game might be inproved even in a year or two but sucktick is a real turnoff
CSGO: Performance (this is massive for vast majority of ppl, don't need a 5k pc to play), movement, awping
CS2: Util improved for sure, new smokes and nades opening smokes. Gunplay in general feels improved imo, but peekers advantage can be a bit annoying sometimes.
my pc was 3k 5 years ago and i run the game at like 300 fps
I play on integrated graphics as my GPU died and still get 70 fps.. @ 720p nonetheless.

Can’t stop the tears
Movement and shooting. In go it felt so crisp in cs2 it juss never feels 100% comfortable at any point . If they fix those two aspects cs2 would be 🔥
I hope there'll be skins for those sweet nostalgia goggles.
Why tf did they remove cl_bob
Idk really, just personal preference setting that a lot of people asked, they added a shittier version of it, and then removed it.
Really feels like it was out of spite, but why doe?
The elite era of cs was cs 1.6 and cs go
I'm sure it's only placebo effect (Copege)
Well, it's not. There is hard proof behind it. The delay and sloppiness of the game is insane. Go suck some copium kid
that new jersey apex was wearing looks amazing
Bro Aleksi thank you I would hope more pro people to come out and make valve change the subtick of mouse or something so the shooting feels the same crisp like it felt in csgo. It was instant feedback when you hit your target but in CS2 it feels more like a gamble.
I think I had only about 15 hours in CSGO before CS2 game out, and even I notice how jittery and sluggish CS2 is
lmao the alexsib clip edit
Csgo was something, words can't describe.
Upload this weeks confirmed please. I need it
Man if valve let the cs franchise die it will be a shame , this is the OG and prestigious game
Anyone saying CS2 is better is a literal mouthbreather.
Man I miss CS:GO...
That point about CS2's graphics is true. There is too much visual clutter that makes it harder to quickly see enemies, tires out the eyes, and makes the game run worse.
Did what aleksi said recently and he's 100% right
Besides Skyboxes and Dynamic Smokes and bit of map and texture polishing, what did CS2 actually add that is better than CSGO?
You could run CSGO on a literal potato, but now, when you have a setup good enough to play modern AAA titles maxed-out, you can't get smooth experience in CS2 on lowest setting and lowered resolution, that's just mindblowing to me.
yeah i lol'ed when ppl hailed the looks in cs2 at first sight, like who cares about the graphics. its about the FEEL
Everything in CS2 is washed out with valorant color palette. Its garbage.
@@TehBananaBread just remember i got some youtuber in my yt-feed sitting and praising the graphics a year a go or so
i miss the smoothness of CSGO
if CS2 was smooth and as responsive as CSGO, i would prefer CS2, but so far, CSGO a lot better
the fact that CS2 is out for over a year and still feels shit isnt helping, yea they are fixing things, but at what rate? the game should have been already fixed! i dont know what are develepers doing at the moment, if they are on vacations 24 7 or they are all working on deadlock and forgot about cs, i dont know but its sad to see
even if cs2 was as smooth, the engine makes things interact horribly, smokes and mollies are a joke, mr12 is trash, movement sucks not only because the game is unresponsive, but also because player weight is too high, and shadows made them ruin the way people look when they move around. The graphics make it harder to see, everything is washed out, and the tracers are too big bright and slow, which makes spraying suck, not to mention first person tracers are every bullet instead of every 3 like in go and in real life. There's so many core issues with the game that I know damn well valve will never do anything about
Every since CS2 came out I haven’t been able to spray as well as in CSGO. The sprays literally don’t connect
Haven't played any CS for like 2 decades but god damn is it sad :(
After 2.5k hours of CSGO. Tons of money spent on cases and skins. I quit CS2 and don't see myself going back unless its to look at my skins or to sell them in the future. Valve destroyed yet another IP.
CSGO had years and years of iteration, all of that thrown away with CS2. I havent played cs2 since october 2023.... I miss CSGO
These guys are running top tier PCs. I’d like to see them try it on my toaster. I want CSGO back.
Valve: Here's half a game ya plebs. Oh, and would you like to play test our new game Deadlock?
Take on account that CSGO wasnt as smooth when released. It took years to be what it is today.
Right!
When csgo released it made me quit cs.
Everything was much worse compared to source. It took years to make it great. Same will happen to cs2
>.t the same person that purchases every half assed broken triple A games at launch
So why kill it
Every CS release people complain and when the next CS comes out, yall miss the old CS. It never changes.
I don’t hear anyone saying csgo was perfect. Everybody is just saying cs2 is worse
@@Jake-bt3fc someone litterally called GO "almost perfect" in this video, hence the quotation.
@@jealius4340 it was way closer to perfect than cs2 is, that’s for sure.
Instead of getting _better_ it got _worse_ which is _bad_
@@Jake-bt3fc at what point did I say wasn’t worse? Maybe engage with the actual point being made instead of manufacturing one that you would like to disagree with.
@@jealius4340 at what point did I say you said that?
People hate cs2 so they’re talking about how much better csgo was. Sometimes people exaggerate. Sometimes the perfect game for someone else isn’t perfect for you.
And yet 1.6 will forever be even crispier
Except for the smokes and maybe the cool Molotov I like csgo much better! Shooting is much different in cs2.
damn, loaded up cs:go and it made me depressed :(
Almost a year since official release
JL and counterstrafing on snap tap 😂😂😂
They are right. CS2 is incomparable to CSGO.
everything they said its true
Why HLTV act like "oh csgo rip end of an era" meanwhile valve ruined it and they just don't have the balls to say valve ruined this game. We all know that csgo was way better in many aspects and finally some pros are openly talk about it.
its unbelivable that they killed csgo
Everyone saying how smooth CSGO felt. That's basically how it was after 1.6 when GO was new, except it was even worse than CS2.
yeah csgo was complete shit at release, of course it went better by the time but ppl was getting used to degradation and a worse game overall, csgo didn't even take the best parts of 1.6 and implement them into the game, like movement for exampel
imo csgo was kinda broken and never fully completely, far away, so cs2 must be very shitty since the difference isn't that big or players just got picky asf
tldr: if ppl could getting used to csgo after 1.6, cs2 should not be a big deal lol
@@211jaunt7 Nice cope man. Imagine defending a company that activly removed CSGO to push CS2 even when its worse. Not compareable at all with 1.6 / CSGO etc. They didnt remove those at the time.
@@TehBananaBread eh, i dont know how u intepret it as "defending the company" lol, im just bantering about it.
but i still think csgo was a bad copy of 1.6 (read counter-strike) should not even be called CS tbfh
as i said, im not defending the company, i hate them cause they pushed CSGO when it was worse than 1.6 (they annihilated competitive gaming for 1.6) so i have no problem laugh at the CSGO community get the same treatment here since i abandoned the community when it became clear 2 me that they were targeting casual gamers
Idk what im coping about lol, just think its kinda hilarious that the history repeat itself
@@211jaunt7 you are rewriting history to suit your agenda, to compare and say that the CSGO community is getting the same treatment as the 1.6 community at the time is truly beyond stupid. You could still play 1.6 when GO released, you had the choice to stay with 1.6. We don't. Valve can do what they like with CS2, go in whatever direction they want but leave CS:GO available so we can have our game back in the state we enjoy.
@@dunny
heck no, i couldnt "choose" to play 1.6 cause there was no competitive gaming in 1.6 after csgo released. no ladders, gathers, tournaments or what so ever since everyone moved over to csgo despite the game was really bad
imagine that valve had kept the game, you think they would have provided you with matchmaking servers and all that? hell no, u would've been in the same situation and forced u 2 move over to cs2 for competitiveness
or faceit or whatever u play, they would also move over and stop providing csgo servers sooner or later
at times like this it is very difficult to maintain a community, when valve is releasing/forcing a new game, it's more consequential than you seem to understand
who tf wants to running around and play public 16v16 players
i left that noob/casual stage long ago, even if the game still was there i would tired quickly of the non existent community
I miss CSGO
I've been begging valve for like 7 years to lower the duration of smokes, the ability to smoke one entrance and effectively cut off all push potential, then just do it again after the first one starts to fade, wastes so much fking time. Blowing open the smokes is sort of interesting, but I honestly prefer the old smokes for many gameplay reasons when they weren't able to be blown open like ninja defusing, the mindgames, and more. The filling mechanic is also kind of goofy and I wouldn't care if they removed it, as long as they fixed one ways when removing them.
Nobody liked the extremely passive gameplay the crazy long lasting smokes forced, but if you were fed up and just wanted to push through, you were just going to get railed, otherwise cs:go was better in almost every aspect.
ex pro back in the past now 3 years cs go i was playing lvl 10 low 2k elo, just fine, some bursts of the past made me 45-55frags,good time overall, skins, laughs, teams,no probs.
now i struggle lvl 8/9 , randoms 0.70kd 10 avg players with high lvl for some reasons make 30kills and sometimes they do 3 kills.i miss ez shots, full burst feels different game,
sometimes i shoot someone and he just turn and kills me and when i see the demo i didnt even shoot.awkward game for me,i dont feel free, and my model feels stuck except all the other problems.
anyways i miss csgo, faceit lvl 8-9 is like full of gold novas and mgs , real old globals are 2.700k elo+ in cs2 ..game is a mess in every aspect so who ever reads this u are not crazy or alone lol
I love bought games. One have something better than the other and vicesa :).
Today I learned: The teammates I'm looking for are professional players. I never see people hold W.
Load up a server on 1.5 and start popping off headshots.... oh my, THAT is Counter-Strike!
I've been saying it since GO... the only thing truly missing from CS these days are the quake sounds in pubs.
Siuhy looking like Jack Doherty.
Their favourite thing about CS2 is ironically a shortcoming within itself. Peakers advantage due to the terrible netcode and hit reg.
same thing for cs 1.6, a tickrate and fps blocked for all players is the best thing.
Still don't understand why HE nades explode in multiple colours, like a magic potion - they had it pretty good in GO. Gonna have to agree with siuhy here 1:34
"What do you like about CS2?" alll pros almost "I like to abuse peekers advantage and hold w when killing people." Please for the love of god bring back CSGO
