1k!!!! Congrats!
Thanks Avocadoflight!
During WW2 my grandmother built P-51's in Seattle. My grandfather would test fly them over the summit of Mt. Rainier. Thanks for sharing!
P 51 mustang‘s were made in California and in Texas …if your grandmother built them in Seattle maybe it was a model airplane??
Absolutely beautiful video ❤❤
KSEA is my "home" airport and flying in and out in sunny weather is always amazing!
It sure is!
Born in Seattle. Spent a great deal of time at mt rainier as a kid
Same here! I've done Paradise, Sunrise, and Crystal multiple times and never tire of it!
I live right at the SW base of Mt Rainier. Chances are pretty good you flew right over my house...lol
Next time I'll wave..😉
Ahhh, lets guess...the 1:30pm to 2pm ish getting in at 4pm............
That's the one I took from SEA-LAX. I did a crazy double connwction that day. It's a bit of a long story how I ended up in that position. But I'll put it this way. My mother & I spent one night in downtown Seattle, & about 2 hours later & unable to locate Pike's Place & walking hills with deep terrains & sweating from it, I was ready to get out & not come back to the city. I was so frustrated with my GPS, & my mother made fun of ke over it.
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Took that route last August flying back to Pennsylvania. Had to go pretty far south then east to avoid storms. Flew right by Mt. Rainier. What an awesome site indeed. Looks like maybe Mt. Adams further south. Don't think it was Mt. St. Helens (which would have been a bit further west), but I could be wrong. Great video!
You are absolutely correct, that is Mt. Adams!
