This was the 200th flight I have taken. Overcast morning departure from Runway 24 Right after a long taxi and hold from Terminal 8 (45 minutes). We taxied for about 12 minutes total and parked the penalty box for about 40 minutes. This has become pretty standard on flights between LAX and SFO recently as both airports are undertaking runway repair projects (24L at LAX and 28L at SFO). Might be worth making the trip to Oakland or San Jose instead until both runways are back up and running.

I'm flying this very route on UA LAX-SFO 737NG or 737MAX to visit Travis AFB for the KC-10 retirement ceremony & final departure + Walt Disney Family Museum
Have a good trip! The KC-10 retirement ceremony sounds fun!
