Thanks for watching! In the video at 13:36 I show the tree and light pole that I ran the line between but it’s brief. On Max I ran line under her shoulders on both sides. I used a ladder to get up to the line between the tree and pole and then tied the two loops from max around that long line. That’s all I did and she barely moved from her spot for almost a month. When she did move I just used a broom to push her back in place. Happy halfway to Halloween!!🎃🎃
Looks great! Might consider Scotchguard spray to repel water on the all the different materials to help them repel water. I would imagine that if it were applied correctly it would hold up through at least this Halloween. Don’t know if it would have an adverse reaction with paints. Thanks for sharing.

Thank you! We added a clothing line tensioner which allowed me to raise her higher (ours is now only about 4 feet off the ground) but it also prevents her from sliding the n the line since it’s inside her jacket. Thanks for the inspirational video!

Does the line sag at all after hanging her. I tried to tie my to the roof and then a window straight across and the weight of her is to much for me to get her high? Maybe I need to have the fishing wire go from high to low?

I tied two lines through the shoulders ( 1 on each side) I tied the hanging line from the tree to the light pole then hooked the lines going through max to that.
So I tied it around the tree with several knots then at the light pole I used a pulley. I went to the pulley then down and just wrapped around the pole several times and tied a knot. If you know a fisherman they could show you some good knots for fishing line, if not I bet there is a bunch on YT. Have a Happy Halloween 🎃🎃🎃

I don’t understand how you did the fishing line through her body. Seems like the line runs down her arms. Can you give some detail. I have my max built just don’t know how to get her in the air. I have 100lb line.
I ran my line from a tree to a light pole. On Max I ran two lines through the body that go in the chest and out the back, those are on each side of the head and they go through the body just under the shoulder part of the frame. I used a tall step ladder to tie each line going through the body to the line I have across my yard.
I cut a slit in the end of the pool noodle about 1” deep. Then put the hand inside the slit and use tape, wrap the tape all around making sure to overlap on the hand and the pool noodle at the wrist area several times. Then I used a zip tie around the wrist area to secure even more. Hopefully this helps, let me know if not. Have a Happy Halloween 🎃

I stuck bailing wire into the pool noodle chest frame and left it sticking out about 5” and stuck the head into that with hot glue. Then I used red vinyl tape all around the neck securing to the chest.
@@chriseuart4241 I used jeans from the small woman’s section at Goodwill, not sure the actual size but I just went for a small Freshman girl look, the jacket is a small and I actually stapled the sides in more to give a slimmer look. The legs are a full pool noodle but they were adjusted to fit the pant lengthand into the shoes all the way to the toe, then I just put the remaining amount up into the torso. So whatever length pants you have and into the shoes so the legs look good, then just put the rest up in the torso so you have a good amount to secure everything.

I have had a lot of people say I copied them and they copied me but it really doesn’t matter to me because as long as people are decorating I think it’s great and when you think about it, thousands of people have the same decorations anyway. I found your video. I mad a max prop. Luckily I found red vans at a thrift store and I found a realistic mannequin head that looked like max that's used for hair cosmetology for $8.
you have a couple givens. nothing can levitate and the object is clearly hanging from strings or cords. but they are not visible that is because they used light test monofilament fishing line. that is why you arent allowed to get close or look up above. not to spoil it for people but its well known its fishing line

A possible addition would be a motor attached to one end of the OH line allowing Max to ascend and descend
I used 5 pool noodles and bailing wire for the frame.

Yes mine sag’s, I used gloves and pulled the super tight and it helped tremendously

I can't hide the fishing line, it shows no matter what I do, how do you minimize the line showing?
Mine shows during the day, the only way to hide it better is to minimize the light on it or shorten the distance if possible, maybe black paint.
