I still marvel at how far Lego as come, my first sets were from 60 years ago, and you really had to use your imagination given the limited range of bricks back then. Onto the builds, the new one looks significantly better, even though you did a great job with the first one. I'm not a fan of the figures, so I would just have it on display on its own!
Thanks. I've got the original one and just ordered this new one. The guns on the new one look a lot better. I reckon on the original one you've got the knee supports on the batpod a bit wrong. Yeah I don't like the figure and will probably display the batpod without the figure.

Bought the new one as it’s so much cheaper then parting out the old . The bat man figure is incidental .
