When I first started reading the Bible, I went through the Gospels several times straight through. I love reading about Jesus and never get tired of it. One of my fave books is Philippians. Paul is such an inspiration to me. He's the patron saint of writers, don't you know!
I love the Gospels too, Debbie! And that's also a great place to start. Just seeing the love of Jesus...you're right - it never gets old. And Paul....yes! That guy is amazing and I have so many questions for him when we meet someday.
I am new here I am reading Psalm in the old testament I am also new to reading the bible finding it hard going sum times I am not a great writer or reading as I have learning difficulties to but I am very determined my age is 81 & thanks for helping me out today
@ Absolutely! My favorite is the Life Application Study Bible. The Cliff notes inside are fantastic and really break down Scripture to help you understand the context and meaning behind it. Here’s the one I use and recommend to everyone who asks: amzn.to/3WeQFr9
