    Back seat cushions can be removed for car camping. I do it all the time with my FJ Cruiser. Remove the seat cushions, use space to store water and such, place cushions on top then pillows and you ha e 1.8-1.9m bed space for a double mattress 😊😊😊😊

    • @ValueCarsAU
      @ValueCarsAU  ปีที่แล้ว

      Great practical advice, thank you! I'm not a very serious camper yet, so just assessing for a short over-night stay somewhere, where a foldable mattress and window covers would be probably enough. Any other advice much appreciated though! ;)

    • @LungFai76
      @LungFai76 ปีที่แล้ว

      @ValueCarsAU no foldable matress, use a self inflate one. Depending on brand/price they can deflate and be rolled up to take up barely any space. For passenger footwell space after removing the seat cushions I have water containers or cooler boxes which serve as a solid base for the cushions that will serve as your pillows or pillow support.
      When I first started out I used a yoga mat as a mattress, then just worked my way up to something more comfortable. Eventually I made a platform that lay across the cooler boxes to get rid of the middle sag so the kid and I didn't headbutt each other if we rolled into the middle.
      But if it's just for a night, just get something in the footwell area to level out the platform (if the overall length of the sleeping area is not long enough with seat cushions in) and use an air mattress with pillows and your good 👍

    Hey mate, cant wait for my delivery. 4 more weeks approximately. Toyota at Salamander bay will let you take the car for a day if you want. I took it straight into deep sand and no dramas at all on stock tyres. They are ppl in Vic and Qld already modifying these cars and they look great and they will be very capable for hardcore off road. Instead of 100k+ Prado I'll buy two of these any day. :) I have also picked the orange colour as it stands out a little and I like that. Combination orange and more black will be cool. Once you get yours, lets meet on the beach somewhere.. :) Good luck and thanks for your videos...

    need to put it in sports mode to get enough power?

    Hello Dmitri. I would like to thank you for the many reviews on China-made cars such as this GWM Tank 300. I had tested driving this twice. First, I was overwhelmed with the many technologies especially too many things on the infotainment. So, I went for the second time and tested the issues people have been having such as yourself regarding the indicator as well as the Start Stop system. Indicator I had accepted needing to train my brain muscle to get used to it. Start Stop system I deliberately turn on at traffic light, then press the accelerator when green light with no issues. I love this car very much, just my only worry is where I am, if the car needs repair, there might not be parts available. I am getting one. Btw, a Toyota user here and my family had only ever driven Toyotas.

    • @ValueCarsAU
      @ValueCarsAU  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Hello mate, appreciate your comment. Toyotas are unbeatable on the network of dealerships, support and reliability. But value for money - they are losing to Chinese year over year (just look at the national sales data for 2023). I'd like Toyota to become more competitive in terms of electronics and pricing of their vehicles, but then - why would they, if they still have plenty of people who would pay $150k for a Land Cruiser that they'll use for what Tank 500 would offer them at half this price? 🤷‍♀️

    • @ValueCarsAU
      @ValueCarsAU  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Well firstly mate, if the car is mainly for your wife, then who cares about the beep etc - as long as she doesn't mind? 🤷‍♀️😉 Two completely different vehicles with similar electronics. ELK is similar but tuned better (it seems), so if your problem is with electronics, safety, beeps, bongs etc, it's safe to assume Tank 300 will be similar. It just looks and drives very differently.

    You will have to take out the backseat in order to be able to sleep in the tank 300. This current setup wouldn’t allow a normal person to sleep in it coz it isn’t long enough to fit anyone taller than 170cm unless you modify the backseat and get it out

    • @ValueCarsAU
      @ValueCarsAU  ปีที่แล้ว

      I don't disagree, but if the size of my H6 is anything to go by, moving the passenger seat forward leaves though room for a 175 cm to fit length wise at the back

    • @ryantang8146
      @ryantang8146 ปีที่แล้ว

    I have no idea why the blinkers are a thing, this is literally how every BMW and now Subaru operates and it isn't ever brought up. One touch lane change, and full press to keep them on. Turn them off by turning the wheel or full press IN THE SAME DIRECTION and they stop.
