Joan Embery will always be the best animal expert. She was always so calm when talking about all the animals she brought.
Handling all those different animals, some creepy, she showed how much she really cared/cares about animals, their habitat and nature in general.
Loved how she interacted with Johnny and the animals.

Bubbles the hippopotamus ended up dead because when they found her after 19 days and used the tranquilizer darts she collapsed in an unnatural position and suffocated. Was 5 months pregnant as well.

Johnny made the same mistake I did. Hippos will rip anyone a 7 foot zipper. They're huge, temperamental, and territorial. They crack the backbones of crocs in half. Sometimes they r held by the mother hippo so the baby hippos will gnaw on the tough skin to improve their teeth. There's a video now of a hippo chasing down a motorboat in Africa.
