- In October of 2023 I bought a well sorted version of one of Porsche’s least lived and least respected cars & couldn’t be happier with it.
In this short first look film I go over some of the small changes I’ve made to this point from the complete stock look it had the day I picked it up.
The 1997 #Porsche #986 #Boxster was a complete redesign for the company based on a show car from 1993. #Midengined, #watercooled, #flatsix, #manual, #convertible #roadster that saved the company along with the redesigned water-cooled 996 911 released the same year.

Very nice. Well...I am old, have had almost 100 cars in my life. Have converted many cars to electric. Just bought my fourth Porsche....1998 986. I will say it might be my favorite Porsche I have owned. Handles better than my old 911s. You go guy with your new 986. Let's see what you got and what you are going to do!
I have a Boxster S 986 2003. F*#( everyone who doesn't like them. They are fantastic.
Wow. The clear lenses and pushing the wheels further out of the arches just makes a massive difference. Are the wheels bigger diameter too. Congratulations, that's a gorgeous car.
Tires are larger but the wheels are still 17s. Direct bolt on replacement with no spacers. Tires are a thicker sidewall on both and deeper depth on the back. I’ll do a video on the change soon 👍
