Method could be improved. Suggest - Bore out complete stub shaft with a fine surface finish. Make new stub shaft from high tensile 4140 or similar with interference fit. Shrink fit new shaft into position and ONLY weld on back side. No welding on highly stressed area of stub shaft.
Esas roscas de soporte del postizo, no están hechas con cuchilla de 55° Whitwort ó 60° métrico. Afiladas y alineadas con plantilla de roscas. Pero están roscadas con una cuchilla de casi 90°, tienes muchas aberraciones mecánicas, esa reparación durará horas.
