bro, im 26 right now and I just started working as a car sales man for the first time, 3 weeks in. This is a very stressful job compared to what I have been doing, like chuck e cheese, or call center jobs. I have a alcohol problem, I drink everyday, and smoke green and cigs. You and gary vaynerchuk get me motivated to stop all my poisions and this vid makes me want to help myself grow even more. Thanks for being a light in this world and please keep coming out with more content.

It's funny you chose Tony Soprano as your name, as that character himself is prone to long streaks of depression, falls in to vices towards the end, and internalizes his sadness constantly. That show is a great study in that kind of mentality, and how it effects and eats us. I'm 30 and just started my rise from my own hole, we're all going to make it bro! You have 4 yrs more than me, it's never too late. See you at the top!

Sell or be Sold, 10x, The Closer's Survival Guide, Be Obsessed Or Be Average, always agree with the customer, service is senior to selling, building the pipeline, and so much more....Grant has changed my life and I continue to follow and believe. I know this was years ago but I watch this video every morning. This is helping me in ways you can not imagine. Appreciate the Cardone now but back then...means so much. Meat and gravy of grinding. Just knowing that I can do this and Im not just another person trying to figure it out. I push everyday. But even harder losing both my parents and best cousin. All 1 year from each other. I need purpose because if I dont. I will fall into depression.. i dont think you know how much you help people beyond 10x and money...this life without my family dramatically changed me... so Thank You for this vid

So I finished the video, wow. It's like he was in my brain 4 months ago. I knew all I wanted was something that I can measure. I love people, but being a nurse is not measurable. I knew it wasn't exactly about finding some divine purpose or some big paycheck. I want something that I can measure, it's like building muscles in the gym. Thank you for that reinforcement!

Jesus Christ, it almost feels like I'm talking to myself. I've been called ADHD my entire life and I was and still am to a certain degree depressed about not being able to achieve a measurable goal. All my life I had been unsuccessful and I was probably headed towards drug addiction too. The reason why I had this chronic depression was that I had a fear of being inconsistent which I am. The moment I moved back to my hometown and decided that I was going to make it, my relatives told me that you're not going to make it because the economy is bad, the people are bad etc. But I decided that my grand goals are not going to be achieved if I just sit around and listen to people while being depressed and being on substance, therefore I decided to work hard and make it. I have not blown up yet but seeing that you're here to watch my back to mentor me is something that gives me the power to believe that I can do it as I am not alone who had these psychological problems. Thanks Grant! Keep it G(Gangsta)

Man... I’m a 22 year old cars salesman... iv dealt with drug addiction since I was 17 and depression as far back as I can remember. A big part has always been not having a purpose and having nothing to do with my time. Thanks for making these videos dude you relate to so many people and so many ways and you’re definitely creating millionaires. A true philanthropist!

  • @StephenG1
    @StephenG1 7 ปีที่แล้ว

I've seen other video where he talked about his drug addiction and what moved me and changed my point of view was just 1 line, just 1 f....g line ''I had too much free time, and when I have free time I do shit stuff, that's why I keep myself busy and progressing, because of that I replace my free time with something that will make me rich and it did'' That was the last piece of the puzzle for me. I had another type of addiction and that addiction stopped me constantly to move in the right direction.
There are so many types of addictions ( to alcohol, cigarettes, drugs, games, sex, food, watching TV, watching movies and ect.)
Too much free time is the only luxury the poor people have. That's what I learned from his story.
    Thank you, Grant. Peace Man.

I just got licensed as a life insurance agent, and I've got a long way to go, but I'm gonna make it.
Thank you for sharing the lessons that you do and sharing the results of your efforts. I'm going all in.

Really great to know that Grant is an introvert by nature! Many people assume the being an introvert is a weakness and is a sign or shyness. But its a totally different thing! Being an introvert is just someone feeling far more comfortable sitting with himself doing his own thing than going out there and socializing all the times! I am an introvert and I really feel his experience! Especially when he said he stopped the car just cause he had an idea and wanted to share it with people! That’s exactly what happens with many of introverts we think and have a strong sense of imagination and creativity. The difference is Grant took these things and made them a reality!

Grant I have a 'diagnosis' of bipolar 1. I run my own business. I'd kind of lost my way a little bit for a few years but somehow still just about managed to run the business. I'm back on fire again, working lots, working smarter, keeping on top of everything, keeping customers very happy and starting to look into investing in property. I've some minor debts I'm clearing fast then I'll be saving hard to get money together to invest. I use the force when it's there. When it's not I motivate myself and set targets and goals to push myself.

Have you been stalking my comments on TH-cam? Because I'm well fucken aware of this. Can't be spewing it out like you are now though, or people start to judge you. It's just the society we live in nowdays, however, people resonating with this sort of talk may also liken to fe related subjects.
Must come off a lot smoother than you are here, it's the hardest possible thing to sell to people, because they likely see it as a con, when really the speaker is genuine. It's easy to be fooled, it's damn near impossible to convince someone they've been fooled.

The real deal here folks...the revealing of humanity. No matter how successful or how much money someone may have, we all have feelings and the best a person can do with their life is to help others before we eventually "leave" this world. Thank you Grant as you are an inspiration to all that may learn about who you really are.

That guidance counselor story from that rehab center story gets me all the time. In treatment I was told to accept that I would always be a drug addict. They make you say it out loud everytime you share something. Now that I understand a little more about self improvement that system is outdated. You're constantly living in the past. My life got better as I slowly got away from those rooms and treatment centers. I surrounded myself around real winners with real affirmations.

Ive seen many of your videos, and have them saved to a specific playlist on my TH-cam account; this one is now saved to that list, annnnd, is going straight to the top spot! This is the Grant Cardone video I've been looking for: the one that decimates all the 12-Step garbage that our society loves to propagate. I've struggled with alcohol for a while, but knew that what those around me were trying to "sell" me was false, harmful trash. We ARE Powerful, not powerless; we ARE able to gain control of our lives, and able to make them whatever we dream; we are not "insane"; what is insane is a world of people who drone about in their 80 years or so of life and never bring out their fullest potential to live, to thrive, to help others. Thanks G, for all you do, have done, and will do. You. Da. Man, brother. Out!

I went through treatment (28 days exactly), struggled with depression, addiction, ect. I am now 21 years old about to take my final real estate license exam on Tuesday. Cut out the factors slowing me down and keep a high student mentality in life. Don't be afraid to be in uncomfortable situations because that is where you make the most progress. Who or what I was in the past is just that and what I will become is anything I put the effort into.

I was introduced to cannabis at 13-14 by a passing indian man that gave us a joint. After that we went to one of my old neighbors houses because he was selling it, one of my friends knew this at the time and it started from there really. It was fun at first but as I got older I used it as a dependency, I also experimented with others drugs. What I find weird is that I can quit cannabis if I have a goal in mind and have almost zero cravings. Thank you for sharing your experiences with us Grant, you give valuable information. I would be what you call broke a the moment with a bit of bad debt looming over me, I realise if I focus on this once everything levels out I can be free to focus on what really matters in making my future better, I'm just not in the position to at the moment.

Extremely impressed, amongst other things, how you’ve said someone gave you the car your sitting in. Wow !! Most people would say it was theirs. Respect and well done for your honesty.... also everything else you said bang on.

I’ve watched probably 5-6 videos today and every single one I related to so much. I don’t know what to do. I need to leave wherever I’m at. I’m constantly surrounding myself with all these people who love partying doing drugs. I struggle with thinking whether I’m good enough and struggle with depression that randomly hits me. Grant and I are damn near the same person minus money

Grant, I listen to your videos often.. I respect the inspiration you give others especially the young men that follow you. Which I can see why. Because young men are fueled with high volumes of testosterone....and you bring it out of them. Thank you. Many people may say your arrogant (which you are) but nothing is wrong with that as long as you're not hurting anyone. I just wanna say thank you for speaking to the masses. I know your heart is in the right place

A spiritual awakening(new level of mindset). I am actually surprised to see this happening to someone with such great level of mindset, and time. i am very happy for you. Many of us will live our entire lives, and not find ourselves-- not love who we are, and not understand how to love. But you are there! amazing! keep going Grant!

You're a huge inspiration for me, I watch a video or two before I study to keep me awake energized and pumped to know I'm on the right track. I'm finding mentors (following the money) and working my way into a position to measure my growth. My goal is to read TEN real estate investment books and organize my own investment strategy. I'm on my third book, and I have 38 pages of notes on finding properties, due diligence, increasing NOI strategies and decreasing expenses, leases, all the ins and outs. I'm learning more and faster than compared to any standard education. I'm extremely excited to show my mentors and keep making moves to catch you in the real estate game.
Just a really long paragraph to say thank you for what you do, your time, energy, and effort is realized and appreciated. BOBA

What Grant says in this video is 100% psychologically accurate. Positive emotion comes from making progress towards a goal. It’s a biological incentive to keep us moving forward and progressing. Attainment doesn’t make you happy, progress does. Jordan Peterson (Canadian clinical psychologist) talks about this a lot.
