Alvin Lee, pretty much the fastest rock guitarist ever.

That's a shortened version of the performance at Woodstock.

Woodstock was a music festival at a farm in New York state in August of 1969. About 500,000 people attended. Most of tge people were in their teebs and twenties. A lot of big name groups and singers performed there BUT, they weren't necessarily big names then. They were just kids too. Most, if theyre still alive, are in their late 70s and 80s.......like me. 😊

He sings "do the Stomp". Play the Ten Years After tune, The Stomp.

Woodstock was the turning point of notoriety for most of the musicians who played there.

So glad the algorithm has sent me this completely original concept for a youtube channel. Wow.

Sadly you picked the heavily edited version, so you totally missed out on the build up of the song. The other longer video where the screen is split in three, that is the full version.
There is a keyboard/organ player in the band, though you cannot hear him well in this song.
This song is the closing song of their concerts, hence the lyrics are not that complicated. Just one more blast before the show ends. :)
It is not a cover. The "by helicopter" part is because all the roads to the Woodstock concert were jammed, so the artists had to be flown in by helicopter. So it is a reference to that, he will will be going home... by helicopter.
If you want to hear more of this band, check out Help Me ( th-cam.com/video/A19OMJ1Q9iU/w-d-xo.html ). Or their only hit (by choice) "I'd Love to Change the World".

You don't know. There are more 3 notes. Chic Churchill plays the keyboards in Ten Years After.

August 1969, and the full version (confusing?) really is much better. But any Alvin Lee, the guitarist, is great

This video version edits out a lot of the song.

That is a very bad man playing that guitar! Jimmy Page and Eddie Van Halen both worship, the great Alvin Lee. I wouls recommend some other great music by this incredible band. But you should start with the full, unbutchered version of this masterpiece.
