Thanks for the reaction, you two! I have really enjoyed watching flautists react to this band and wind up being horrified by how Ian Anderson twirled his flute around everywhere!
Me (Caspar) Already knew them from i was 14 years old, and my dad showed them to me :) Remember learning Aqualung on bass was pretty hard at that time, so many fills haha. ty for watching
@@CelcaReact Most "reactions" are new to the listener, so I assumed....bad idea. I was about the same age when I discovered Ian, but that was when the record first came out. I'm old.
Thick as a brick has Ian Anderson playing a few instruments. We traveled from Arizona to Florida in 76 to watch Jethro Tull perform. The song Bouree will take you back in time. I think you would thoroughly enjoy the band Traffic doing the 14-minute live version of Low Spark of High Heeled Boys. The shorter Studio version does not have the long solos as the live concert does. 🤠🐂
There are more flutes in rock and prog, but the only tuba I know of is the piece "Tuba smarties" by the band Sky. It is not rock, but may pass as prog. Anyway skilled muscians! (But it wouldn't surprise me if there is a tuba played somewhere in some Beatles song...like a day in the life ... or by Zappa)
Hey guys love your reactions Tull rocks how about some In This Moment the song WHORE and THE PURGE I think you would love this group killer female singer later my friends.❤️😎🇺🇸
The true embodiment of Medieval Rock. He's self taught on the flute and I've seen a few concert flautists be amazed by his technical skill.
One of the best front men in music
I am 66 yrs old now, this was the music we all listened to growing up. Now they consider it early prog rock, to us it was just the music on the radio
I'm 70 and the same. Absolutely loved Jethro Tull.

Loved the same smile at the end of his flute solo!
Your taste in music is improving.

I forgot about Traffic. I used to have the long version of that song. Loved it.

Aqualung isn't on my list of top 100 Tull tunes.
Not my favorite, but I still like it.
