I just got it a couple of weeks ago, and now waiting for my Behringer 1500xb sub so I can give it the Full Test with my old school Gemini GX 450's (trust me, I will be replacing those, they weigh 70 pounds each, the sub weighs 70 pounds). update on my Beringer wmx 1000... still going strong not one problem. for those of who who say it's, crap my vmx fell from a height of 5 feet.said to myself It's over picked it up turned it on still sounded good as new that was 3/4 months ago .I made a good choice
Thanks for sharing this video, i don’t have the USB version but I still have mine after 30 years still working o.k, it was great in days when it was analog now digital controllers, I’m still having issues getting my audio to speakers again, I try my PC speaker, I do have karaoke speakers, I need re co figure it. I’m a qualified sound engineer i should be able to work it out 😅to get the output sound to main output,

Can you still use all 3 turntables with a computer plugged into the usb with a Dj software like serato or rekordbox or do you loose the channel that the line input accepts your laptop

This unit cannot record the mic nor is it output into usb. You can use a separate mic pre amp and plug it into channels 1 to 5 so then it WILL record when you connect your computer to the 'Record' output.
@@vinylimpressions Thanks for the reply Martyn. I have found a workaround now but this is one massive design flaw. I use the audio out into a mac since laptops don't bother to include audio in anymore. the usb output is completely useless on this unit.
can you hear the microphone from the headphone jack? have older VMX 1000 and you Can't hear the mike..thinking about upgrading..but I have to be able to hear the mic

No the mic in and out don't seem to be connected. Its useless for mic users

Troy I watch your video I have the same mixer for the main out put left and right where did you run Xlr cable from is it the equlizer
Floyd thank your for watching. If I am understanding correctly you want to know how to run xlr to an equalizer.
All you have to do is take the xlr to the equalizer then to your amp or power speakers depending on what you decide to.
But personally I never had an equalizer because I use power speakers and the equalizer is on the mixer.
