I love this mixer, and i'm not even a DJ! The trouble with finding a mixer for a home studio like mine (not DJ decks, but old school drum machines, samplers etc) is that most mixers are either for DJs, and so only have 2 or 4 channels, or they are aimed at bands, so don't have enough of the RIGHT KIND of inputs (they tend to be single jacks rather than double jacks or double RCAs). This mixer was, and still is, the best solution to my problem. At the price this was, i can get more than one and chain them together, or just have each USB going into a DAW.

hi. isn't the lack of a pan pot an issue?

@@space_cowboy007 On a lot of equipment I have collected I don't know why they even bother with those. I will connect stereo to stereo and basically just get dual mono. Not only that, but on some Roland drum machines I got very recently if I even use stereo then the they are hardly audible, but if I stick with left / mono then you get the full blast You can always add spatial effects and reverb etc later down the line.

@@BaddBadgerfirst off thanks for the reply 5 years later lmao
I was under the impression you used those to mix a band or a recording session
I thought it was useful for the mix to put some instruments on one side which is why I ask. I'm afraid that otherwise you end up with everything in the middle and it gets muddy.
also it's not clear to me how the send/return works as there is a single pot for the whole board and not a pot per channel, so how would you spatialize only one track?

@@space_cowboy007 If I remember right I did have some kind of issue with the aux send. I think it was coming out through speakers, but not of recordings. As you say, my initial comment is five years old. I have bought a lot, and hopefully learned a bit since. While this mixer was a great budget solution at the time, these days I would avoid buying anything from Behringer. For one thing the quality can be hit or miss. I feel like there's literally a 50/50 of you getting a product that's good (for the price), or absolute dog-****. And on top of that their ethics have really been questionable for a while now. There's now a lot more products on the market that do what I wanted this mixer for, just as well, for the same cost or less.

The bracket is not a handle to carry the mixer its to support the mixer if it's not in a case

Do the lights on right only light up if you have XLR speakers plugged in? Also, I'm pretty sure that isn't a handle but a stand to prop it up on an angle.

I have one of these and for the life of me I cant figure out how to switch the usb to output. help?

Set the input in the audio control panel on your computer to your sound card and it will detect output via usb and audio cable input. The output from the mixer's USB is the same as sent to the Record Out signal, which is the pre-fader 'Main' signal.

@@salvadorsalvador4735 He used it as a handle but, of course, it was designed to hold the unit up if you don't use a rack.
