Ally (and her father) should be more careful about words they use such as "nuthouse', 'crazy person" etc. Severely mentally ill people (brain disorder) are just as sick as Ally has been and she should know better.
Maybe blame her father instead of her? She was the one who suffered through it and you can hear the terrible and non empathic way he talks about her and her illness. Nice COLD dad. Poor girl.
Jenna's dad also had acute Lyme disease (George W.) but he got treated right away. It takes many 10, 20, or more yrs to get diagnosed and then insurance denies patients life saving treatment and many die due to medical neglect. It's a tragedy. Change has to happen. Over 300,000+ people a year are diagnosed, and those are the ones that are lucky enough to be diagnosed.
Kelly Fogle you're right about the "Lucky" ones who get diagnosed. The poor saps like me whose bodies don't produce the antibodies for Lyme, don't get diagnosed because we test negative. That's how the tests work and a lot of people don't understand this. Once I tested negative the first time, I assumed I was okay because my Dr never bothered to tell me that my symptoms could still be Lyme and that the tests are not accurate. He told me everything from "it's all in your head" to trying to give me pills for anxiety and saying that it was grief because my Mom had died the previous year. I actually started to believe him until after two years later I was continuing to deteriorate. I knew it was something physical and not my attitude or grief or depression alone. I was bitten in 2015 and didn't figure it out until 2017 but I am lucky because most people suffer a lot longer before they are diagnosed. I'm on an herbal protocol that is lessening my symptoms, I'm able to do a lot more now than I was able to do before taking these powerful herbs and supplements. If anyone wants a list of what I take daily, I'm happy to email it to them. Email me @ robbyc219@gmail.com and I'll send the list, it's quite long but worth the effort.
Going to an institution to get psychiatric help isn’t the “unthinkable” in fact it should 100% be thinkable and is okay. I loved her show as a kid and I love to see she’s grown into such a strong woman. I wanna go buy her book!
It would help greatly to shine a light on this horrible disease if Jenna's father, an ex president would speak out about his experience. Maybe someday.
Clearly her parents are not warm people. Her father is terrible. I'm happy for her that she has the validation and diagnosis she needs and that she us a warm person.
Thank you so much Today, Jenna and Ally! The neglect of Chronic Lyme is such an important topic! PLEASE continue to cover it.
Thank you for sharing your story. I'm 31 and have had Lyme since 5 years old. thank you for your inspiration!
Lyme Disease met the wrong person; it hit Ally Hilfiger! Bravo girl !! You overcame it! 👏 Can't wait to read ur book.

Omg she looks the same as she did in rich girls
Your dad is a GOD ON HEAVEN AND EARTH
Lyme's Disease is hard to manage.
It always amuses me, these stories, when they tell you little to nothing about the disease or what is. Lol
she does on different videos that go more in depth
Remember her from mtv, and those chipmunk cheeks and teeth,so pretty, glad she's better
Oh another lymes disease victim, didn’t know it was contagious 🤔🤷🏼♀️
It's zoonotic i.e. carried between warm-blooded creatures by biting insects or arthropods ( fleas, ticks or spiders ) and by sexual coitus.
I feel like I have Lyme disease... scheduling an appointment today!!!
