Mine is doing that when the cool is on. The cooling turns on for like a couple of minutes and then it turns off. The screen turns off and then comes back on minutes later.
Thanks! This might have fixed it for us. While the heat sensors weren't caked, I wiped them down and it seems like the HVAC isn't tripping every 2 minutes of the heat kicking on any longer.

Have you checked your outside unit? It could be frozen. You would just look for ice build-up on the pipes going into your house.

Oh that's exactly why I made this video! Mine is still going strong with no restarting.

You don't need to brush off your limit switch haha the only reason to replace it is if it's stuck open
