Heechul actually go to SM audition as a vocalist for Rock Band cause he has his own rock band in high school before he go to SM... but after joining as trainee in SM, he end-up debuted as a Boy Group not a Rock Band. But years after he became Super Junior's Milky White Skin Kim Heechul, he finally make a Duo band with ex T-rax Guitaris Jungmo who under the same company with Him. The Duo kindda like a sub-unit band from SM, cause we all know SM really like to make sub-unit for his kids :3
So...did no one realize Leo was a serial killer in that video? It took me a few watch throughs to realize what was going on, you'd think all the other body parts are from the most recent girl but there's other dresses on mannequins and the only dress that's not displayed is the one in the box of the girl who left him. Also note that he was uncomfortable with her touching him while she was alive, soon as she's dead, no problem being affectionate with a dead body. This is still one of my favorite videos

The girl he loved(?) and loved him and never left him and the dress he carefully created ....perfectly preserved! And in order to do that you have to take the organs out XD i can't tell though if the organs only belong to her
But isn't she the only girl actually in a dress? Wouldn't he display them too in the specific dresses that he'd designed for them? Otherwise I think it's an interesting theory!
Everyone knows Leo is a good singer, but most people are actually surprised that Heechul can actually sing, not just be savage, handsome, and hilarious. I'm so proud of him, and Leo too. Heechul actually wrote the lyrics of the song too.
You know it's funny, the lyrics of Blossom Tears are actually much more tame than the video, while Narcissus's lyrics (which Heechul actually wrote himself btw) are actually really sad.
With all these new K-Pop groups coming out of the oven every 7 minutes, newer fans don't acknowledge the caliber of senior artists. All of Super Junior can sing exceptionally well, but even the ones that aren't as strong vocally in comparison to KRY still have quite lovely voices (namely Kangin and Heechul). Thank you for bringing more attention to Heechul

I always love Heechul because of his personality but this song made me like him as a singer and lyricist.

I am going to interpret it on like how I understood blossom tears, I think Leo is like a fashion designer of some sort and he loved several girls before her but when he got all serious about them, they would leave him. so this girl actually really loves him and maybe also serious, but he has anxiety and trust issues , this is why he is taking pills and he cant sleep at night. he designed that dress because he wanted to give it to her specifically but he is scared she would leave him too. He loved her so much , but he alwaus remembers what happened with the other girl and always fears the samw scenario would repeat again . so , he killed her in hopes she won't leave him and then he took her heart because it is most thing he loved about her and then took her body and turned it into a mannequin and dressed her with the dress he wanted her to wear and the dress she liked. All in hopes she won't leave him. But godddd I crieddddddddd when I saw this mv for the first time and their voices are really good. I really love this song. one of my all the time favourites.

Fun fact. The guy that was singing, Heechul, has been told most of his career that he doesn't have the chops to be a leading vocal which is why he doesn't have very many solo attempts until just recently. But they are sporadic and usually limited to a single.

"i can't erase you but i have to let you go" he doesn't want to but since it's a contract he can't do anything about it. "We’re broken like glass My broken heart cannot be healed so it disappears From the hurt me, from the hurt you". it's hard to fix a broken glass no matter what it will leave the cracks that shows that it was once broken "cannot be healed". the only way to fix a broken glass is to melt it and change it into something new. thus making it into something new and making the old one "disappear". "Even the moment we said goodbye, it got me worried What kind of rumors would torture me? I’m afraid I sugar coat it by saying I’m leaving because I love you And I say goodbye as I wipe my tears". so there is an idea in the entire song that the guy is a narcissist. so he worries more about himself than he worries about others. so here he's thinking what would people think about him. my theory about this part is his fans knows he is a narcissist. so thinking he's a narcissist his fans would say "how could he have fallen for her she's just nothing compared to him". he doesn't want that he doesn't want to ruin his image so he kept on implying that all he said was fake. maybe he said "i'm leaving because i love you" but he doesn't want that anymore so he just said he sugar coated it. so people would think he doesn't mean it. but he cried when he have to tell her that. "As I held the crying you, I was thinking Hiding my selfish face With endlessly sad eyes, goodbye once again" this is the break up scene after they said everything. as he saw her crying he felt something different. he's not happy about leaving her anymore. even if his narcissist side is happy that she's leaving this girl he can't smile and be happy about it. "I didn’t expect the times we loved And the end where we said goodbye to be any different But you need to forget me And I’ll leave you". he expected that when their "love contract" started and ended he would just feel what he felt the moment it started which is nothing. he knows to himself that he felt something and he did not expect that. he thought it would just be the same as what happened to all his past relationship but it's not. now he feels guilty about it. he can't leave thinking that this girl can't forget him because she loved him so much and he felt how real it is. so he can only hope that she will forget him to appease his guilty heart about leaving her. "Without being able to erase the memories of when we first met I’m comforting you, saying not to get hurt as I said goodbye" so now for me he admitted to her that she's special to him. because he can't erase the moment they first met. but he knows that they can't do anything about how they feel. the only thing they could do is go on seperate ways and move on with their lives. so as last effort to show her that he loved her. he made their parting more a long lasting happy memory than a hurtful memory.

I think Leo is like a fashion designer of some sort and he loved several girls before her but when he got all serious about them, they would leave him. so this girl actually really loves him and maybe also serious, but he has anxiety and trust issues , this is why he is taking pills and he cant sleep at night. he designed that dress because he wanted to give it to her specifically but he is scared she would leave him too. He loved her so much , but he alwaus remembers what happened with the other girl and always fears the samw scenario would repeat again . so , he killed her in hopes she won't leave him and then he took her heart because it is most thing he loved about her and then took her body and turned it into a mannequin and dressed her with the dress he wanted her to wear and the dress she liked. All in hopes she won't leave him.
But godddd I crieddddddddd when I saw this mv for the first time and their voices are really good. I really love this song. one of my all the time favourites.

Fun fact. The guy that was singing, Heechul, has been told most of his career that he doesn't have the chops to be a leading vocal which is why he doesn't have very many solo attempts until just recently. But they are sporadic and usually limited to a single.

so my story breakdown of narcissus

"each day passes" and when is a love over? for me i see this line as a sign that it was forced rel or contract relationship. "i can't erase you but i have to let you go" he doesn't want to but since it's a contract he can't do anything about it.

My broken heart cannot be healed so it disappears
From the hurt me, from the hurt you". it's hard to fix a broken glass no matter what it will leave the cracks that shows that it was once broken "cannot be healed". the only way to fix a broken glass is to melt it and change it into something new. thus making it into something new and making the old one "disappear".
"Even the moment we said goodbye, it got me worried
What kind of rumors would torture me? I’m afraid
I sugar coat it by saying I’m leaving because I love you
And I say goodbye as I wipe my tears". so there is an idea in the entire song that the guy is a narcissist. so he worries more about himself than he worries about others. so here he's thinking what would people think about him. my theory about this part is his fans knows he is a narcissist. so thinking he's a narcissist his fans would say "how could he have fallen for her she's just nothing compared to him". he doesn't want that he doesn't want to ruin his image so he kept on implying that all he said was fake. maybe he said "i'm leaving because i love you" but he doesn't want that anymore so he just said he sugar coated it. so people would think he doesn't mean it. but he cried when he have to tell her that.

this is the break up scene after they said everything. as he saw her crying he felt something different. he's not happy about leaving her anymore. even if his narcissist side is happy that she's leaving this girl he can't smile and be happy about it.

he expected that when their "love contract" started and ended he would just feel what he felt the moment it started which is nothing. he knows to himself that he felt something and he did not expect that. he thought it would just be the same as what happened to all his past relationship but it's not. now he feels guilty about it. he can't leave thinking that this girl can't forget him because she loved him so much and he felt how real it is. so he can only hope that she will forget him to appease his guilty heart about leaving her.

so now for me he admitted to her that she's special to him. because he can't erase the moment they first met. but he knows that they can't do anything about how they feel. the only thing they could do is go on seperate ways and move on with their lives. so as last effort to show her that he loved her. he made their parting more a long lasting happy memory than a hurtful memory.
I like how they realised Heechul's voice is a lot lower than the usual male vocalists they hear. #ELF
