As a total beginner, who’s on day 3 of trying to learn during my daughter’s nap time, this was the first thing I was actually able to make and complete!! So thank you so much for this tutorial!!
Last year I made beaded angels, this year I making origami hexagon ornaments, next year I’ll see if I have the right yarn to start making these easy ornaments, because I’m just barely a average crocheter. Thank you for sharing, I did save and should write it down in my book so I will remember later too. I love simple patterns. Merry Christmas and hello from Washington State.
I have done these before but I did mine with double crochet, 2 rows wide, and variegated yarn. Resembled the old fashion hard, ribbon candy. You could also make the loos all the same length which really would look like the hard cnd.
Love this! I’ve watched your carpal tunnel video. Please tell me that you are able to comfortably crochet again. I’m having surgery in 2 weeks and miss crochet 😢
@CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie really love the pattern and your explanation of how to do these. I will 100% be doing these for KY coworkers and friends and family next year!
Love it thank you for sharing
Adorable! I’ve never crocheted before, it looks like a great starting project. Thank you!

Can you please tell me the brand and color yarn you used.
It’s a hobby lobby I love this yarn - I’m sorry I don’t recall the color
What stick pins do you like best?
It sure looks like more than 16 stitches. Maybe 60?
Yes, I say 60 - maybe it sounds like 16?
Must be my speakers. Thanks! About to start one with a little extra yarn.

I heard 16 as well 😂
@@CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie what size of beads did you use
How many chain stitches do you start with?
60
60
Oh I though you said 16 😂
Lol I heard 16 too and I was like “there is no way…” 😂😂😂 60 makes way more sense!
60 + 2
And I can't find those beads or pearls. I do have plastic stars, but don't like them for the tree
@@crystalpistol4156 you can find wooden beads at Walmart, Amazon, hobby lobby, etc
Where did you get the beads? They’re hard to find
I explain in the video
@@CustomComfyCrochetByDawnMarie you’re asking me to go back to the video 😐 you say something like hallmark? Where is that? On like? Very kind!
She said Walmart.
Does anyone know the size of beads?
@@deannacoulter2957 if I was to guess I would say between 9-10mm but that’s a rough guess. Really any bead will work
@ thank you! These are adorable and your tutorial is excellent!!
What size beads did you use?
It was an assorted box - it didn’t give sizes
Ok, thank you. These are absolutely adorable!
Would it be possible to do this with a plush yarn?
@@johnnylowe7014 sure
Mine look like 🐍 snakes😫
@@crystalpistol4156 i would suggest using a bigger hook and to soften your tension
