We’ve watched a few videos on this, and I’m glad that you did this one because it was specific for the year I needed. Great video, super helpful and we were able to do the job with your help. Thank you very much! PS: I went with one from a auto parts chain with a lifetime warranty.
@@carldavenport1583 yes it worked, everything was exactly where he said it would be. It scared me a bit though , after I changed them I turned the car on and off back to back and it would not start the second time. I had to mess with the battery to get it to start. I thing it’s a separate issue because it has no problem starting up as long as I let it run a bit before I turn it off. I appreciate the video ✌️
I just changed the one that the code indicated. It fixed my issue. I guess if you change one & it didn't resolve it move to another sensor and replace it.
code i get is p0021 comes up cam shaft sensor as well i know theres 2 on top 1 on bottom is this same as your issue? even though different code? @carl davenport
I found this online but would recommend researching further- Manual says it can be caused by a number of things: -crankshaft position sensor -camshaft position sensor -intake valve control solenoid valve -accumulation of debris to the signal pick-up portion of the camshaft -timing chain installation -Foreign matter caught in the oil groove for intake valve timing control
Haven't had that issue but found this- "Follow this procedure To reset the Vehicle Dynamic Control (VDC): 1. Start the engine and set the steering wheel in the straight forward position. 2. Drive the vehicle at speeds above 10 MPH for at least 10 minutes. 3. The VDC OFF indicator should go off. If this does not work the truck should be checked by a technician." courtesy RepairPal
I forgot to thank you two weeks.
Replacing my sensor was a breeze.
Thanks again.
Awesome, thx

Do u know if u have to order the sensor from the dealership or can u buy it at autozone or a local auto part store?
Got mine from the local auto parts store.
I have a question I wanted to see if u can help me
Do you need to change all 3 camshaft sensors when the code only says bank one
