I like your videos because you think differently and do out of the box stuff you wouldn't normally see, but based on a scientific method. Good job man

In an older video about your explain ing you box choice and it's sound well, I have a ported box with 2 XR15s in about 6.75/7 cf tuned to 30ish with 129.5ci port area on a AP APCLE 1800, most of the time my voltage stays between 13.2 and low 14s, and I'm torn about the sound, with some songs with more low bass it sounds awesome hits hard and I can turn it up and shake everything, but with songs with higher bass notes it gets really loud but boomie and really out of shape sounding to point I have to back my gain knob off alot, the subs sound slow like there slower so obviously I avoid that, I was tuned to 35/36 and this issue was worse. Do I have to big of a box or and to much port area or is my amp running out of steam having a hard time controlling the drivers? I'm at a loss other than build another smaller box and maby round ports but not Shure what size tube 2-4", 1"6" 2-6"? If you have any input and don't mind it would be appreciated it, thanks.

Your tuning plays a key role in that. You also want to ensure your amp crossovers are set right. If your tuned to 35/36, it won’t play well above 45hz-50hz as it falls off and same goes for below 28hz-30hz. It’s all about the box for this most likely. Also you could clip faster at certain notes to make it sound bad.

Correct me if I’m wrong but wasn’t your low volume test peaking at 45hz with the roundover? End of the video displays 46hz unless your peak went back up at high volume? Also been meaning to ask about your resting voltage 👀

Yea high volume it always is louder 1-2hz above my low volume peak for some reason. It was 47 and then 46 with this roundover. For my voltage it reads at the battery 12.6-12.7 after sitting for afew days but at the meter it’s always like .5+ lower before I start the truck it’s weird.
