I know it's kinda late, but Thanks so much for making this! I'm a straight A student and have been all my life, but when it comes to anything math, I struggle. Especially with linear equations. I can do simple ones very easily, but as soon as you get more than 2 or three numbers in there or more than one variable, my brain just shuts down and I can't seem to do it. This helped, though.

Wow, I have this on my curriculum this year, I thought I might as well explore and check what "Linear Equations" are and it was really, I thought it will be something big and tough, but it was quite simple for me, nice job explaining it.
The one thing that I realized from this video is that you need to have a clear understanding of other basic math operations, like how to multiply, add, and divide fractions as well as negative and positive numbers, in order to do well with algebra. If you don't have that fundamental knowledge down pact, you will get stuck. So, they key to understanding and doing well in algebra is understanding the basics of math.
I learned it via transposing when u divide through our by the coefficient it works to but in my opinion transposing is easier tho the same thing applies

Excuse me, I thank you for the help on re-learning the ' solving linear equations' process, but when my teacher taught this, he showed that when you have a fraction(s), you make a common denominator to the whole problem, including what was on the other side of the parenthesis. I thought about this on the problem you showed around 11:00. I would love if you could help me understand that. Thank you in advance x)

Guys i know that this is a very good method but an easier method for people who like to use there head doo this: expand the brackets like in the video so you get 10+5x=12-3x then find out the difference between the x;s which is 8x as its 5 and -3 so it is 8x :D then find the difference between the numbers which is 2 so divide 8 by 2 which is 4 ;D hope it helped made me learn fast ;D
